I am going to park my vote for today on the next person who argues either for or against No Lynch. Any argument about it at all. Just throwing that out there.

OP is relevant to Celever's interests:

Vote using ##verb and unvote using ##unverb. If you don’t unvote, your new vote doesn’t count. Lynches require a simple majority of the votes remaining. For example, there may be ten players remaining but if there are 14 vote remaining the number of votes required to lynch is eight. Otherwise, the person with the most votes at the deadline will be lynched – if two or more people are tied they will all be lynched. Vote counts will not be provided upon request. They will only be provided once every twenty-four hours after the beginning of the game day.

Also can I just point something out. Our discussion is now whether the last discussion was good or not; would it not be better to continue discussing to lynch or not to lynch?

Also Camo, why did you suddenly decide that the discussion is hurting the town? IIRC you said that the discussion was beneficial to the town a while ago...

Sorry I didn't reply a while ago, but I've been busy with video editing, spending time with my family, and being distracted by the chumps on PB Staff Chat (you know who you are).

I'll say right now that I will vote no lynch if we actually don't have any leads, but I would much prefer to lynch someone today. Although, I do want to ask everyone advocating no lynch something (I know alex answered this last game but I forgot his answer): What information will we gain between now and day 2? Discussion? Night actions? The wolves' kill? Even combined, this usually isn't enough to get a good lynch day 2.

What exactly made you change your mind? What were your thought processes?

This answer will differ from person to person because they hold certain information in a higher light than others, but I will put my answer quite bluntly: Absolutely none. However, we get an extra lynch if it really comes down to the wire later in the game to work with, and not what is probably (thinking of game structure of other games myself) a 9/29 chance of a lynch. Those might seem like pretty good odds, but then you have to realize that there will be certain roles on the village that are so much more important than others, as well as the fact that there could be roles like (ex-)lovers or twins which take down two town slots in one kill and you have yourself an option. No Lynch is the safe option, and while I love chance and risk, I also play these games to win. In werewolf, playing safe early-game is the best way to do that.

What we have to work with Day 2 in almost every game is a Day 1 with slightly more information. However, unless we happen to hit a scum Day 1 we get no information from lynching someone, either. We get slightly better odds because of the wolve's and possibly indie's (they could be benign indies, you never know! Something like a pacifist, politician or lyncher!) kills, which reduce the number of townies (unless there is hilariously accurate cross fire N1, js) and make lynching scum more of a possibility.

I agree that there is a very good chance he is scum. However, I'm not quite confident enough in it to lynch him, apologies. He is incredibly scummy rn though.
