RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Day 2 ends December 24th, at 23:59 GMT

Posting to say that I've read the update and what's happened so far.
Killing two indies D1/N1 is really interesting, and helps us a fair bit. (no town have died yet which is nice; I don't know/have an opinion on what SG is yet)
That message is interesting; I suppose it wouldn't hurt to look into the two people today? (if we don't have any better leads...)
I don't think there's anything much about Fenrir yet (nor am I him).
As others have gathered, pretty much only Harry or Snape would use Sectumsempra (I personally think it's the latter, since it makes more sense for it to be Snape's signature spell).
SG claiming would probably help, seeing as he pretty much has nothing to lose by doing so (i.e. whether or not he does, it seems like he still dies at the end of today).

Just a quick dump of ideas/opinion before I go to sleep.

##VOTE: KEEPER OF NIGHT

Hmm, care to explain a bit? I mean, I can infer a bit based on my own opinion of his posts so far, but it'd be nice to hear what you think.

As for my own opinion, I'd only skimmed it before but KoN seems... I don't know a word for it, maybe nonchalant (what does that even mean) but to give an example, the fact that he appears to be *just* posting for the sake of meeting the limit. (I mean, I do realise that he is trying to help but the tone of the post suggested otherwise).

Also just posting the bare minimum to survive is detrimental to the town, because if you are town it isn't helping when you say nothing, and if you're scum it's more difficult to get a read on you. So if you want the town to win, post when you see a need, not when approached...
Yeah nope Keeper, just no.
Celever is starting to understand it.

##VOTE: Keeper of Night

Not a bw as I pointed out the scummy thing originally.

RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Day 2 ends December 24th, at 23:59 GMT

Snape could not realistically be a vigilante; that is the complete and exact opposite of his character.

RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Day 2 ends December 24th, at 23:59 GMT

Also: since when do vigilantes have kills that take an extra day to resolve?

Miller is more in line with Snape's character.

Hmm
##vote: Shining Goodra.
Probably an independent! May as well vote him off!
Kidding! I'm really tired and I have to wake up really soon :(
##unvote: Shining Goodra

But actually;
##vote: Keeper of Knight

Obviously not sold on him being scum but only posting cos there's a limit is not very town-like...

And now I can sleep...

RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Day 2 ends December 24th, at 23:59 GMT

Keeper you really should know better than that tsk tsk.
##VOTE: KEEPER OF NIGHT Honestly this seems kinda like a silly wagon to start day 2 but the reasoning is legit.

^this is true, however...
1) We know that the user of Sectumsempra is a vig (town or not, it's unclear but we'll probably see from SG's flip).
2) There are only two users of Sectumsempra (unless Luis pulled a fast one): Harry and Snape.
3) Snape's signature is Sectumsempra, Harry's is Expelliarmus.
4) I'm pretty sure each player gets only one spell, do you think it's more likely that Snape or Harry has sectumsempra as their one spell?

RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Day 2 ends December 24th, at 23:59 GMT

It's literally how I post every game. I fill the quota so I ensure I survive modkill at the end of the day, then only post when there's need to.
You guys must be desperate if you see that as any sort of lead.

@PMJ, that's exactly what I was thinking.
@grantm, wouldn't you think that the main character of the franchise could realistically have more than one spell?

This is true. I don't think its a valid excuse for the bandwagon. Although I don't see anything better right now, aside from the Daily Prophet.

RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Day 2 ends December 24th, at 23:59 GMT

I don't think I'll be able to make 10 posts today. I got a lot to do in real life at the moment, which should calm down in a few weeks.

I do agree that only posting the bare minimum isn't helping, but he said he'll be back when something interesting happens. I believe that KoN doesn't have more to say now to help, and that he means he'll stay updated on the thread and posts when he does.I don't think a scum would slip like that and state they're purposely not posting a lot.

##UNVOTE: KEEPER OF NIGHT
##VOTE: LENNY

I summon thee.

As of now, those^ two are the only two I'm ok with lynching.

RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Day 2 ends December 24th, at 23:59 GMT

I'm going to come to the defense of Keeper. People shouldn't be posting just for the sake of reaching some kind of posting minimum. Posting 92 times in one day without any substance to give in 50 of them isn't great for the town. As long as people are consistently posting when they have something important to say, then they're posting enough. It's just as scummy to not post at all as it is to post unnecessarily many many times in my opinion. Keeper will be doing what I'm usually doing (expect for today because of this ridiculous 10 post minimum), reading and keeping up with the thread but not feeling the need to post about every single subject (many times multiple times) reiterating the same points that have already been brought up by that person already and others.

RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Day 2 ends December 24th, at 23:59 GMT

also yes it's very possible that Harry has more than one spell. Also he is a vig type character. However it just seems unlikely that Harry would have sectumsempra (especially over Snape). I'm just assuming Snape is in this game because it's a fairly large game and Snape is a fairly important character.

I'm not considering this a slip. He just said it so that he can stop posting and then quote what he said after someone points out the fact that he stopped posting. There is no other feasible reason for him to have said it otherwsie, and there is no reason for him to have done that besides if he were scum. It's simple, really.

That's not at all what I said and that is not why we are lynching him, but yeah what you said is true.

Actually Celever, I said it so we could drop the silly argument we were having.

First of all, don't try to lead us. It doesn't help anybody.
Secondly, nobody should ever be pushing a lynch so confidently off of one sentence.
Lastly, are you so opposed to continuing the day? You seem eager to end it.

This seems to have happened in every single game on this site and I've said the same thing every time: "why do you think I'm trying to lead?"

Pushing a lynch confidently is much more productive than pushing one sheepishly no matter what...

Where did you got that inference from? I'm confused. Post quotes next time you make assumptions, otherwise they are empty and untrue.
