Also my bigger question is why were the safeclaims not actually safe?
Like simsands' safeclaim had double vote weight but he didn't actually have double vote weight so it's not actually safe. PMJ's safeclaim had didn't target anyone, yet their actual abilities involved targetting. I could only target people at day with my safeclaim, but I could only target at night with my actual role. Jabberwock took 10 less damage from attacks but didn't actually.

You can change the class of your safe-claim once a night provided you have second/master seals available (though it will not use one).
Only simsands seemed to make use of that.
This is admittedly an example of a minor kink in this game. There are a few things which future hosts can use this game to learn from.
I refuse! ...Actually what we probably should have done is just make the safe-claims start as their most fitting class instead of them needing to find it. But then scum never would have been able to access more roles.
Personally, I'm sceptical about this game's balance. When you've got split scum teams, those scum teams have to be loaded with actions to make up for the sheer number deficit they have. The roles the scum had in this game which much moreso built for a 1v1 game, not a 1v2.
We had a standard team and an Arson team. Needing to cut scum roles hurt the idea a bit, though.
Thirdly, and most importantly, why does the Aptitude skill allow Donnel to hand out Second Seals? It makes no sense.
Because Aptitude affects growth. There's no stats in this game, but we have plenty of classes to go around!
Also last bit of salt I have: why weren't scum kills inheritable? It effectively put the entire scum team in mine and simsands' hands because the factional kill could go away at some point and leave our buddies essentially helpless with no offensive tools to lead to their win con.
I mean the strict adherence to flavor bothered me (as I made it super clear in the thread for the past two weeks) but I think this bothers me more.
Now, see, this was probably our biggest problem. It bothered me too, a bit, but the kill was never going to be inheritable. We had a bit of an error with Jabber's role, he was supposed to get Axefaire as an attacking skill. Would have fixed, but he died, so...
The idea was scum would just move on with normal attacking instead of a kill. I wanted the other scum leader to gain a kill every night (instead of every other) when the other leader died. However, because we still had RF running around, we waited until he also died before doing so. ...Fortunately, he boosted your kill for us, so that worked.
Admittedly, not the best way to go about it, but we did have a plan.
And we stuck 100% to flavor because we are uncreative. Deal with it.
Okay.
What exactly were Reinforce's restrictions on revealing the scum team? Giving him access to both scum chats and allowing him the opportunity to win with the town is completely absurd. There had to have been a better way to go about doing that. I absolutely would have tried to end this game ASAP with that role.

I want to clarify, now that I'm here.
The point we want with your role is that you can side with town, just like you could side with either of the scum teams before. But, like you couldn't sell out one scum team to the other through the QTs, you can't directly tell town who the scum are just through information gained through the QTs either.
You're free to share results from your abilities with whoever your please, however. Therefor, siding with town just means you play as a townie would have to.
I think I explained that well enough.
Weapon system was kinda silly but I don't know what happened. I think I only got attacked once the whole game. Did anyone even get a weapon?
Plenty of people had weapons, a few attacked, but it never did play a major part. It never was expected to, either, that's why it wasn't the only way to kill people. I loved that it could cause you guys confusion though.
Honestly, I'm not a fan of random items, though it depends on how random we're talking. If I'm getting bows as a Sorcerer, which I can't use, it's pretty much just like I'm being trolled.
You would never get a weapon unless you were in an attacking class, and while in said attacking class the only weapons you had a chance of getting were ones you could use.
We were free to change the claims which is why I had to change the claims because nothing I had was safe. It probably would've paid off too had I not made 1001 scum slips.
Dammit. I only counted 997.
