you know there are other cards to attack with BESIDES shiftry EX.  most people aren't so stupid that they're going to just run lone shiftry.  sure it'll definately take a hit since Shiftry is their main attacker.  But the regular nongrass weak Shiftries + whatever secondary attacker you are using should take a 70 HP Ariados out easily.  But that's if you get a decent set up...

I know that but most likely they will have at least one shiftry ex on the bench then I just spider trap that out and knock it out.
 
...Or if they flip heads, they retreat for free and kill you...seems like its another flip matchup.

well, it's like new spining tail, but it uses 2 pokes

juz spread dmg to their power/body pokes (with raichu)

and if they dont have power/body (their main atker), use exeggutor to split bom them to death

both exeggutor and raichu also have nice atks other than the spreading dmg atks
 
Camerupt DX/Aggron EX, Unown Z are the only alternatives to them. Marowak D might help. hm... it's already set up, so there's no point, is there?
 
Rai-Eggs is WAAY over-rated due to the fact that it can be 'teched' out with card like Cursed Stone and Cessation Crystal. Heck, the only reason I see people play it is because it's cheap to make, it's fast and can do decent damage. But oddly enough, I don't see any of the 'pros' playing it:/ But this doesn't mean it's a bad deck. I'm sure everybody reading this is thinking: "what's he know?" I do know what I'm talking about.

I think this happened beforebut it is too soon to be discussing which edck will be best this format. CC's aren't even here! As far as I'm concerned, we'll just see alot of random things and Ra-Eggs and Flaredos.
 
Exactly the point. Raieggs will get alot of playing this format because of CC. Plus almost every single deck uses pokepower's. The one thing that raieggs has to watch out for is banette ex decks.

IF it gets that far. You're forgetting DRE decreases to 80 and they might not be able to use Scramble by then. So bannette might have knocked them out by then if they're smart and reversaled up the chu.

But it's still not the best matchup for Bannette EX.

IF it gets that far. You're forgetting DRE decreases to 80 and they might not be able to use Scramble by then. So bannette might have knocked them out by then if they're smart and reversaled up the chu.

But it's still not the best matchup for Bannette EX.
