What Can Be Done to Improve PokeBeach Forums?

From being a regular, I would recommend Zyflair, Davichi, and perhaps DarkVoid to be additions to chat staff.

In all seriousness though, Zyflair and Darkvoid are probably the best additions/

Since I came back from hiatus, I've tried to go on chat at least once a day. From what I've seen so far, people I'd recommend would be Jay, Zyflair, PMJ, Darkvoid, Boddy, and maybe Cinesra
 
Zyflair and Dark Void (and possibly Cinesra) are my only recommendations for now. Jay kinda goes without saying.

Dark Void I can definitely agree to, however, like I promised PMJ, the two of us have to discuss each op. I will try and contact him on our server to discuss nominations.

I saw those posts a lot before I left, and while I admit that they seem to have become less common while I was gone, they're certainly still there (being posted by super mods no less!).
In addition, I think that even if it's not the most pressing issue, it could do some good to add some extra functionality in order to get rid of it.
 
uh so

if grains of sand are being implemented and shown for everybody there needs to be an option to turn it off or it needs to be implemented for the rest of the forums
 
I think the majority of forum users won't be actively gaining grains of sand. Perhaps a running tally could be kept in a sticky, or in a profile section.
 
The reason it shows up here is so that people will care about it.

I talked to VY about it, and we agreed that much of the reason Grains of Sand failed in the first place is that no one cared about it, but putting it with people's post count will make them. People care about post count so they try to make posts, apply the same philosophy to Grains of Sand and voila. That said, there need to be options regarding it. Like I said, you should have the option to hide it or it should be implemented in EVERY part of the forums (although even if that were done, one should still have the option to hide it).
 
I know I'll get flamed for this, but I would LOVE to see clans come back, albeit with a specific limit for competitive and TCG play for Pokemon.

I know it isn't a big deal, but for people for are joining tournaments or anything that doesn't need to have a huge post, then I agree that the character limit should be removed. What is it even for anyway?
 
I doubt there is a why to implement a bigger character requirement in specific forums or it would have been done a long time ago. Sadly, it's either all or none IIRC.

All of you guys want the restriction removed so you can just type n or in to join a tournament

Don't be so lazy.

Alternatively, if it really bothers you, work hard and get promoted so you don't have to deal with it anymore. :>
