- More TCG News and General Discussion mods
- 2 or 3 More Trade Council Members
- A "Like" Button (It would stop a lot of spammy posts, that's for sure.)

You wish me return to mod the TCG section?
My answer is still no.
Gee, if the staff asked me if I wanted to regain my modship, I'd gladly accept and help Apollo fix up the Writing Corner (it honestly wouldn't make too much of a difference we're just working together right now anyhow). I wouldn't have thought that someone could be so conceited and assume that people want him back, but the internet continues to prove me wrong.Mew Jadester said:For those who are wondering...

Major contradiction there. The fact that members weren't involved to begin with was the reason that magazine failed. You can't completely give the benefit of the doubt to everyone and expect them to actually do what they say they would do. I personally feel that it's mostly left to the member whether or not they'll actually get things done, and it's the staff's job to find these dedicated members and give them the recognition and opportunity they deserve. I understand how it's important to let the staff be more accessible to members, but you need to look out there and see which members are actually helping out and try to get them to work with you first, because they are the ones more likely to give promising results.Shining Raikou said:We will be working on being more transparent with the members. Members should know about opportunities to help and contribute to the community. I feel that in the past we have failed to do this when certain projects came to a standstill. However, this isn't saying that getting members involved is the fix for everything. As seen with the Cerulean, people volunteered and then the magazine feel apart due to work not being done/done on time and lack of interest. For the community to accomplish something we will have to work together, and the right people will have to take charge of something and follow through. I am already planning a Skype meeting where members are allowed to come join in a chat with the mods and more. Going forward I want to see more meshing of the staff with the members. Together I feel like we could really accomplish something. Solely relying on staff members for things isn't going to cut it. We all have to work together.

What would you like to see? What needs changing? What direction would you like to see the VG forums go in? Please accompany your post with reasoning.
As a team we already have a large number of ideas, but as one of my aims is to increase community participation, I'd love to hear your thoughts too. Every post will be considered.

Interest in the VGC is widespread enough that there may be members of the Pokebeach community who want the VGC represented in the video game forum. Creating such a forum will add to the depth of the video game forum and may jump start a VGC community on Pokebeach.
