at my cities yesterday i'm in the seniors and my top 4 consisted of CaKE, Reshiphlosion, Eelektrick/Zekrom/Lanturn, and i think Durant mill or something like that

Most lists are solely based around that. If I go first and get a T2 Gothitelle, you basically just lost. It certainly does not happen more than with any other Stage 2, but it's not uncommon to see a T2 Typhlosion or Magnezone, is it?
 
Ehhhhh I'd say 50/50 myself. Then again, I've only played one or two decent stage 2 decks.
 
at all of the cities i went to so far sean has been winning with lanturn eelektrik, it dominates donphan and reshiphlosion, and i built it and i won seniors, so far it's won 4-5 cities total in my area, it's alot more consistant and does plenty of damage over magnezone, plus it's all stage 1 so no candies or anything, and lanturn is 7 dollars. its such a good cheap deck.

How exactly is it more consistent and damaging than Magnezone? Also, Eelzone has way more wins across the nation than Lanturn/Eel does. Lanturn/Eel is a good deck, but it's just not as good as Magnezone imo.
 
We saw no ZPST (although we did see some Eelektrik) and no Reshiphlosion and only a couple Stage 1's. We did, however, see three Durants, Vanillux, Fliptini, Kyurem, etc.
 
6 corners won by Cities for masters, and the Truth (iirc, and inspired by me :p) won Seniors.

It's Virizion/Terrakion/Kyurem/Reshiram/Zekrom/(Bouffalant and/or Cobalion)/Shaymin. It's basically just a modern day haymaker.

I learned the hard way NOT to play Fliptini at my last Cities. In a single game:

8 Dual Ball Tails
3 Jirachi Tails
1 At the start.
1 Failed Tyrogue Just when I wanted a tails....
16 Failed V-Blast (Counting the reflips)
1 Double Heads for my opponent when he Foul Played V-Blast

That's 30 flips that didn't go my way consecutively in a single game. Against PrimeTime, no less.

You have no idea how harcore that sucked....

Anyways, it looks like Zone Eels is going to take the most cities, I don't think very many people saw that coming. Chandelure is preforming better than I would have expected as well. 6 wins last time I checked the Gym thread.
 
I honestly don't get how 6 Corners works. They can be one shotted without Eviolite and a Pluspower, and with Eviolite they can easily just be Catchered around. If someone has no Catcher, they can just not attack, and what would the 6 Corners do with an undamaged Dragon? Outrage for 20?
 
^Attack with something else, or build up the second attack.

The deck's a gimmick, but it's good against Magnezone, so it automatically has a little bit of viability.
 
Honestly, 6 corners is too gimmicky imo. Virizion does nothing in this format, its not good for draw and its attack doesn't even OHKO things weak to it (unless you mean Virizion EP...was there one? Even then, its not worth it just for Feraligatr and Archeops). Kyurem won't do too well without much focus on it and Reshiram will attack once and never again, so honestly you'd be better off just using Terrakion for electrics, Cobalion for Gothitelle/Kyurem/Beartic/other random stuff, then use Zekrom as a main attacker for everything else, and maybe an Elektrik to power them. But then you don't have 6 corners at all, you have Eelbox.
 
Honestly, though it sounds bad on paper, it is very good. a turn 3 80 is not to be underlooked.
 
No, its not, but Eelbox or CaKE can do that too, and more reliably since they run less types of energy. It just seems like too much of it is there for the aesthetics of having 6 legendaries.
