Different forums I think. When I first got here and hung around the Game Corner a bit, I really got fed up with all those RPGs added every day. It really needs its own section, with strict rules I think, because the quality of all the RPGs is bad in my eyes and they don't really last long. Like Flare wrote, maybe they need an approval before they start. I used to rp a lot (and with better quality and longevity), so I could do it. But I'm not a mod, nor a confided member, so it's probably better someone else does it.

Maybe a section for the lame-games, like the hurt-help and super-effectiveness games, too. The more 'serious' games like the chess tournament and connect-4 get more attention like this.

Edit: Ninja'd, so like IceEspeon said.

Edit2: Something else, I would like some mods to react to reports quicker. I don't know how you see those reports, but I've noticed that some mods don't really pay attention to reports, correct me if I'm wrong.

Here's an example: A few days ago there was a thread in the b/w section that was really getting out of control, with much of spam and even porn. I reported way before the porn came and reported twice, maybe three times after before the porn came. No mod paid attention to it for at least an hour or two. At first only one was visibly online, but later three and even a supermod, all within the time I reported. The thread was getting out of control more and more by the minute and nobody paid attention. You don't think mothers will like it if their 10-years old son browses a forum with porn, do you?

I'm not going to tell any names, that's really childish, but just pay more attention to reports before things get out of control, like the rest of you do.

The Game Corner is total junk and cannot be saved. Wasn't it supposed to be nuked years ago? Whatever happened to the Game Corner rules? ):

Welcome to Pokebeach dude. Not all mods read reports.

But seriously, not all the mods have the time to look through the reports as soon as possible. They also have lives and many other things to do on Pokebeach. I know that mods like dmaster and a few others do try their best to go through the reports once they get online. As long as it's handled in the end, it should be alright. This isn't a chatroom in real-time, it's a forum. Not much we can do other than report it and hope for the best. ):

I do not think that three sub-forums are needed, but perhaps a RP subforum would suffice.

Remember also that in the terms of service thing you were suppose to read and agree to before you could register stated that this website is not responsible for what gets posted. It is the user who posts the objectionable content that is responsible for it. It says the staff of the site will do their best to remove the objectionable content.

With how big of a forum PB is, it could take awhile for them to get to it. Each moderator has their own order of how they like to do things.

Yeah...that thread was very..special. Let's put it that way lol. Gale should not have opened it up in the first place and if he had left it closed, it would not have gone that far to begin with. But that's a separate thing. More importantly, I apologize for not being on to stop it earlier.

dmaster out.

The games should be split up into different catagories:

Series - Games like Murder or WW that go on for a long time.
RPGs - guess
One shot - Quick games like The Rate Thread and Pokémon Hangman

I think this is a very good idea.

Just to stop so many people reviving dead threads maybe someone could make an auto-lock feature that locks any thread when no one has replied for 15 days.

We would have a lot of threads closed and that looks very mucky. It's better if we just leave most of them open and lock the very few that are revived.

dmaster out.

I think by haveing diffrent parts of these fourms work togeather we can make the fourm a much better place. We can have the writing coner and the fan creations fourms work togeather to make pokebeach books. On the other hand, only the most decated in each fourms should be allowed to help or it will not do as well. We can have the VGC and TGC clans help out in there respective fourms. Sadly this will not work unless the TCG and VCG fourms have better and more prestable threads. Do you see how both of these ideas will fail? They may be great if run by users that are truely dedacted to there cause, and have the order that can only be achived with the power of mods. The trade corner is a great example of this. The trade council is a group of users that know how to trade and and are dedacted to the trade corner. If we had a council of some sort in every fourm [exludeing gathering of the miscellanea, ect.] the over all perfomence if the fourm would increase dramticly. The writing corner could have a system like they do in the trade corner so that the fan fics posted are better. If you did this you could have a sub fourms for those that did not get approved but have potentail. You can aplly simler things to all of the fourms so that every one can see the good fan fics, and every one can help out the still get\give the help that is needed to become one of the better fan fics. Again you can apply this to many ther fourms to.

I posted this in the "No more yppy games" thread in the game corner, but thought it was a better fit here.

not saying no to new RPG's is my only suggestion

edit 1: also a auto logout where if someone closes the broser without logging out and don't come back for 5 minutes the get logged out. or the same idea if you haven't done anything (scroll, click, type) for 10 minutes it auto loggs you out. just some ideas.

I've been noticing a lot of n00bs posting posting threads immediately after joining and the thread gets locked. I think there should be a rule like:
~You can't create a thread unless you have posted ___ number of times.

What if someone joins just to ask a TCG-related question, or something of the sort? Once again, if they don't read the rules, it's their fault, and they need to take responsibility for it.

That doesn't make any since. What's so bad about deleting a poll? Someone explain.

I agree, I would also like to be able to edit my polls such as adding and deleting answers but not changing which would cause lots of people's answers to be changed.

The thing I notice is the number of people that join post a few messages that day and never come back. Would it be stupid to have a rule where you join and have to wait a week to post?

I think it would be stupid. A week of doing nothing just means it happening the week later.

Anyway:

A Seperate RP Forum:

Because RPs are cool. And a lot of people here(despite there being an absence of decent RPs) like playing RPs. So it would make them happy. Besides, what'd be the disadvantage of it?

I forgot the Game Corner even had rules. Lol, maybe nuking it isn't such a bad idea now that I remembered that.

Why waste space on that. The mods call most of them spam.
