Right, because 6th gen will totally be exactly like 5th gen in every way.

Bolt the Cat said:Adding a 5th moveslot for HMs wouldn't solve much. That would mean you would only have access to 6 HMs at most, so if there's more than 6 HMs or if none of your team can learn one or more of the HMs, you still have to switch Pokemon out. What they need to do is either make the HMs more useful in and out of battle, or make it so HMs can be used without wasting moveslots.

New type combinations, pokemon with better stats. I agree with this.[/b[
And like Bolt the Cat said, more variety in moves. See above
They could really do with a revision of some of the older pokemon's movesets and stats. Its really dumb how you have to wait to level 70 or something to teach Leafeon Leaf Blade, the eeveelutions need a STAB move they can actually learn around the level you receive it, many older pokemon are completely useless versions of their Unova counterparts (looking at your Sandslash). That would be nice too because I hate having to learn moves in lvl. 60/70 unless they are TM's
And if they add in HM Dive, make an underwater map. No real reason and it actually gives you surprises though it would be useful.
Finishing the Eeveelutions, or at least the types that were originally in the special category like dragon. I reallywant this.
With Mitja on the Ice type with actual resistances, I would like to take away the Bug resistance from ghosts for Spiritomb and Sableye to have at least 1 weakness.
An area like the Battle Fronteir, with the PWT, and a place to EV Train. It sounds nice to have a place where you can EV train twice as faster.
As for starters:
Starters that are equal in power, not completely scewed on way like Infernape was with Torterra and Empoleon I don't see much problem with having starters slightly better than outhers if the gap isn't too much
A non Fighting type Fire typeno need to reply to this
A grass type with decent stats, not uselessly fast like Snivy or mediocre like the others. All usable would be better.
A speedy Water type Not so important IMO but nice
Location based Pokeballs, available post-game. Ones for mountains, forests, the ocean, etc. There were some in Sinnoh like the Dusk Ball, Net Ball and (I think) the Dive Ball.
Give Ice types a Defense boost in Hail like the Special Defense boost does for Rock types.I must agree
A weather band item that keeps a pokemon from being affected by weather.Nice too but some abilities already do this
New abilities that basically allow a third type, basically giving the pokemon STAB for another type without the weakness or resistances.
e.g. Aquatic - Water type STAB, but not weak or resistant to the types a normal water type wouldThat would be too good to have the STAB without weaknesses
What if you could move a Pokemon to another ball and have the old one destroyed. Lets people move pokemon but also keeps them from getting infinite Master Balls. There would be no point on doing that
Make things HMs destroy/fix permanent. If you cut a tree, it stays cut for good. Make HMs seperate. If you move the boulder in a cave accidentally passing where it should have been, you have no way to get back
As far as movesets, what if Pokemon could have say 6 moves but could only use 4 different ones per battle?Maybe 5?

Elite Stride said:1. Post-game storyline (as others have mentioned). The game ends quickly and it's all too easy to lose interest in the simple things they leave you with after the story. (e.g. battle subway, "movie making", musicals, etc.). My post game highlight after B/W1 was battling Cynthia in Undella Town, which is kind of below expectations when you consider it's just one battle. I want them to do something similar to what they did with gold and silver, how you could beat the elite 4 and then hop over to explore Kanto and attain those badges. And of course, challenge Red. I would love to see a second story go on after the main story, though.
Elite Stride said:2. More difficult trainers, gym leaders and Elite Four. I suppose the regular trainers you come across are fine, idk. But I want nothing more than to be more challenged when battling the computer. None of the games so far have really offered that challenge. If they can just advance their technology and make me feel like I'm battling a real and experienced person, I would be one happy camper. But maybe that is just wishful thinking.

Also couldn't care less about new Pokemon, just the Hoenn remakes but not as a 3DS exclusive. I don't want to buy a region locked 3DS just to play MR/AS on what is essentially the same thing.
Wow... This is just ridiculous... Apologizing for Gen 5? Don't care about new Pokémon? Then what are you even doing here? This thread is about "what do you wish for gen 6?", what do you think will be the main focus of gen 6? New pokémon obviously. But if you didn't like Gen V, I don't expect you to like Gen 6 either...
Metalizard said:Oh, and then there's the RS remakes which is the only thing you care apparently, but not only for 3DS, so I guess you mean, you want them to be compatible with the old DS. Genious... That's totally what we need right now...
Delta said:And having a 2D game in 3D is so special why? Pokemon doesn't need to be in 3D. Fact. I don't want to churn out that amount of money for "A REGION LOCKED 3DS", for my eyes to hurt after I play it for more than 5 seconds and just for the one, maybe two, game(s).
Bolt The Cat said:GSCHGSS didn't really have much of a storyline once you got to Kanto. JS. I wouldn't mind a few post game sidequests like the sage quest in BW1, though.
Elite Stride said:No, I agree completely. But what I was essentially saying there is that they at least had a lot more for you to do (gym wise if nothing else) after you completed the main story. If not another storyline, It would be nice if they at least did that.
Metalizard said:I don't know how gen 6 will be nor I'm saying it will be like like gen 5 (Of course, it won't). What I know is that with each new gen, there are more and more people complaining about the new pokémon (that they look stupid, or they don't look like a Pokémon or that they look like digimon, that they're running out of ideas, bla bla bla), people that call themselves fans of this franchise... So why will it be any different when gen 6 arrives?
