I'm tired of all these quick and easy threads asking what you should play. Seriously, you guys should test and play decks out yourself, but use this topic instead of creating your own to find out what you should play. You have to fill out the form so people aren't clueless. You can ask for any Tournaments you want (not counting Prereleases).

Form

Event:
Division:
Metagame:
What you can play:

When critiquing or telling what someone should play, YOU HAVE TO EXPLAIN WHY. Not explaining from now on will earn you a 40% Spam warning. Also, not filling out one of these categories will result in a Spam warning as well. It is inexcusable to list off decks for people to choose WITHOUT knowing what other people are playing around you.

Disclaimer: The advice listed here is not the best or perfect advice. Again, it's always best to choose a deck you feel more comfortable with, but this thread can help you narrow down your decisions. Please don't hold us or other people responsible for your deck because, in the end, it is your final decision. Also, don't be discouraged if nobody posts. This might mean that you should just test out the decks and see what works best for you in the end anyway.

RE: What should I play for _______?

Division: Seniors
Metagame: not really sure yet but im assuming gyarados(main), luxchomp, donphan(maybe)
What you can play: Flygon, very non engine SP, random decks

need some help for states. want to play flygon but dont know if it can stand up to gyarados.

RE: What should I play for _______?

:/ Thank you dmaster.

Division: Seniors
Metagame: Donphan, Luxray GL variants, Gyarados, decks with Mr. Mime in them (like Shuppet)
What you can play: Gyarados, every SP variant but Luxchomp, Gengar variants (Cursegar and SF Gar alike), Flygon variants, Plox, Glistomb

Ever since I've discovered my meta, I can't decide between Gyarados or some other deck =P

RE: What should I play for _______?

OMG yes a new important thread!! Anyways I like running rouge cause its unexpected. Anyway Gliscor, you could try kingdra? Luxray may be a problem though...

How much have you tested with Flygon vs. Gyarados? I haven't tested a lot, but if the varients play Rare Candy, you will have a tough time.

Gyarados sounds good. Pack some Cyclones/Calls. Or even play Luxray (which is an even better option). That way you can take care of Donphan, Gyarados, get around Mr. Mime, and hopefully be faster to take out Lucario GL/opposing Luxray on the Bench.

RE: What should I play for _______?

Yes, thank you dmaster.

Division: Masters
Metagame: Jumpluff, Donphan, Feraligatr Prime, LuxChomp, BlazeRay, DialgaChomp, Gyarados, Shuppet (maybe) GG (maybe) Flygon Variants (probably)

What you can play: Gliscor/Luxray GL/Mime, BlazeRay, DialgaChomp, LuxChomp, FlyTrap, thats it...

Its easy to see what decks have advantages over others, but the issue im having is that whatever deck I choose, fails to another of the decks listed above.

(Example)
DialgaChomp > Shuppet
DialgaChomp < BlazeRay

SP decks were really good last worlds, and are still really good.
Is FlyTrap still good?

Luxchomp or Gengar. I'm in favor of Luxchomp if you can play against SPs well, but you also can't screw up at all against Gyarados, so it is a tougher play. If SP means Dialga, Gengar is out.

RE: What should I play for _______?

LV: Can you elaborate some more with what Lions is?
Shoyru: Luxchomp. Luxray deals with Gyarados, and still can stand its ground against SP variants.
Sillykyle: It would've been easier to know what your meta is. I'd say Kingdra, only because it is fast (like Jumpluff) and is still pretty solid.

RE: What should I play for _______?

I tried both kingdra and LuxChomp at leauge, both times I won first place. The Kingdra was against mostly Gyra and Machamp (I did loose my first match, Gyra, though) and LuxChomp was against Legoes, Leafeon/Tangrowth (an easy win), and a deck that had a lot of SP (Blaze, Toxitank, Honchcrow, Drifblim FB). I'm thinking LuxChomp. Also, should I add in a 1-1 DGX to even up my matchup against Donphan (No -20 and no Nido healing)?

If your meta is full of SPs, go Flychamp. If not, go Luxchomp.

Its between Luxchomp, Spiriplox(w/ DCE of course) or Flychamp. If meta is full of SP, go Flychamp. If its full of like Flygon and stuff, go Spiriplox. If its full of just-random crap, like Gyrados, then go Luxchomp.

I'm one of those ppl who hates net-decking...that's why I gave you my choices.

You should tech in Blaze FB.
It will give you an easier time against another Dialga G and Jumpluff.
