Where to buy in USA?

RE: Buying individual packs online

Troll and Toad don't have time to weigh packs but they buy packs from other people for .75 cents and resell them so they will most likely be weighed.

I bought 18 packs from Collector's Cache and I got a good amount of holos and 3 Kyurems, which was awesome when it was hyped up but now it's like meh...

Stop2shop also isn't safe. I bought 17 packs and got only 3 holos, 2 were duplicates. AT LEAST HE GAVE ME FREE SLEEVES! =_=

RE: Buying individual packs online

Right, thanks. I think it's safer to stick with boxes once I get the money for them.
Why are some people so unreliable these days...

RE: Best place to buy Booster Boxes?

Do troll and toad ship to europe (U.K)
And are the booster boxes relatively good value from there?

thanks in advance

RE: Buying individual packs online

Is it safe to buy singles from those websites (e.g Troll and toad/collectors cache)?
I'm shocked at the fact people way the packs....

RE: Buying individual packs online

If I buy individual packs it's usually just at a store...like Target. Sometimes Wal-mart.

Anyone know of the cheapest place to buy a case of booster boxes?

If I remember correctly the three best places for cases are dacardworld, blowoutcards, and ebay sellers.

Be careful - people weigh those packs as well (if they are loose packs).

RE: Buying individual packs online

^^Yes. Loose packs from boxes at Target and Walmart are not a good buy. My boyfriend bought 3 Dark Explorers packs from a box and we didn't notice that the tops of the packs were loose. All of the packs were either missing the 'rare' or the RH cards.

RE: Buying individual packs online

I don't buy loose packs, sealed only. I haven't been disappointed before...Target, Wal-mart, ToysRus. I've gotten plenty of Ex/Prime/ex/Secret rares etc from packs.

RE: Buying individual packs online

I suspect someone is weighing my packs at target. I opened many of them, and only got 1 ultra rare. When I say many, I mean around 50. I did get around 5 holos too. -.-

That sucks, that's the downside of loose packs. Here in Canada I have never seen loose packs in a store before, they are always packaged in a blister case.

They were blisters.

RE: Buying individual packs online

I do not recommend the buying of individual boosters. We did have a member who said they could weigh blisters. Even with the volume of orders an online store could find it rewarding to weigh all booster before shipping. I have witnessed years ago at comic book store a regular customer (?) making a big purchase ask for a couple of boosters. The first clerk went to the box. The second clerk stopped him, dug into box, hand the packs to the customer saying "You will like these better."

Promo blisters could be safe.

RE: Buying individual packs online

You can weigh blisters? This is news to me, I am curious now. I always assumed the weight difference of the paper and plastic made it impossible to accurately weigh blisters.

I tried weighing yugioh blisters a while ago that my friend bought and it didn't work so I'm somewhat skeptical unless pokemon blisters are that much more accurate production-wise.

Yeah. I heard people on youtube saying the weight of a full art is 29.__ grams. Disgusting.

You know I have a very hard time believing they can be weighed. I think I might go out to Walmart and see if it is true in about 3 hours and buy 3 packs and post results.

RE: Buying individual packs online

Seems like you can't trust anywhere but like I said I've never been swindled before. All the blister packs I bought from those stores yielded something. I been buying blisters from Target and Wal-mart for 15 years.

Yeah it probably depends on your location too. I know that pokemon isn't popular around here and Walmart has a TON of blisters all the time so I doubt anybody is pulling shady stuff.

RE: Buying individual packs online

Lived in Arizona most my life. As far as I know not too many fans here. But I live in Texas now so that may change.

RE: Buying individual packs online

Is CollectorsCache trustable for single packs? They have a pretty good shipping rate to Australia so if they're reliable that'd be nice.
