Pokemon Will Pokemon die out?

^ thats kinda a neat idea! ^-^ If that were real, they would probably make an anime out of it... I hope ash would be still in it. I just wish misty and brock would join ash again :/ Pokemon felt super-amazing with them in the show. Now there are like all these new characters :p it feels weird to me! Hmm... However... I wish that ash's father would be revealed!!! He could be the champion in a future new region or something. Woooaahh kinda random, but I would like to share this, I drept part of this last night before I went to bed: I think it it would be weird if they made a pokemon movie where ash/pikachu found out about a world just like his but without pokemon ( like our Earth! ) and some small rare cute pokemon he ran into on his journey could take him there and he ended up temporarily becoming trapped in our world! I imagine he would be taken into a portal that would take him to somewhere in modern day Japan. 0.o People would be staring at pikachu and he could make pikachu act still and look like a plushie doll LOL o_o I think that would be weird but awesome if the pokemon company pulled it off and was like the most awesome pokemon movie ever!!! It would still be entirely an anime btw, not one of those cartoon-to-real-life movies like Rockadoodle was :p

Well what I think went wrong was actually the quality of the anime see the old episodes they don't look the same I prefer the old look now the new look. The anime for me is terrible now and I will never watch them again. I do however plan to buy all the old episodes on DVD but they are gay because they only release episodes for America not Our region Uk :(

HA. I know what you mean! I personally like the way the second gen seasons looked the best! I like the older art better, it just feels more awesome!!! Especially since I watched pokemon from the very first episode when I was 7 years old it just kinda sticks with me to like the older pokemon seasons more. The art has changed in the anime a lot in my opinion. I cant take the "new ash" english voice actor chick seriously :/ I have to watch the japanese versions if I decide to watch any pokemon from late 3rd gen+ I miss you Veronica Taylor, wish you coulda stayed. T~T

Exactly and the voice's I mean come on jesus christ they are terrible I prefer the old fat pikachu than the game one and yes 2nd gen was the best season. Even with the games I didnt like the new ones that much even though I bought both black and white and completed them.

I know what you mean. that's why i went here:
www.pokemonepisode.org/
this month, though, the site has been out due to too much traffic, but just bookmark the page for april; the episode quality is awesome, and includes every episode and most of the movies. you should check it out ThatPokemonCollector ;)

Speaking of the Pokemon Anime, I tried to get ahold of the next episode and apparently it didn't air this weekend probably due to Easter or something...

They are probably going to make the RPGs for a few more gens then probalbly make the spin-offs as big as the main series, intoduce more adult games and then sadly, pokemon will die out, like very thing, ME is gone and Halo is going, just the memories will remain in our minds and the stories will be kept alive. It makes me sad to say this, but one day, pokemon will be forgotten along with every thing else that we love today.

I remember when people said the 5th Gen. was going to be the last, and even though it's not confirmed, there will probably be a 6th Gen. People always say "a few more gens and than it will die", and that's just not how it works. Pokemon is like Mario, it can be rehashed and people will still buy it, it won't just die. Maybe the periods between Gens. will be longer(though it's actually looking like the period between 5th and 6th Gens is going to be pretty short), but I'll tell you, we will talking about XXth Gen. in like 2040.

Also didn't Mass Effect 3(I think that's what you're referring to) came out not too long ago and isn't Halo 4 coming out later this year? Lol those series aren't even close to dying.

Well let's see if Pokemon can make it to 1,000... although at that point... we'd better have lots of battles because there's only so much pokemon we can want to train and use... "Oh I want to use this party... oh wait... hmm... I just caught that I also want to try him out... hmm... who do I deposit...? Argh..."

Also on a random note. I think Cold Blast should have been Cold Burn. But that's just me.

not sure, I thought the 5th generation was over doing it, but more and more people have been accepting it over time.
No as long as it makes money it wont end or die out.

Lots of Nintendo games, like Zelda and Mario, have been going strong for about 25 years. Pokémon just rounded its 15 year mark, and it's already extremely successful. As long as it doesn't get ahead of itself, I can see it going for a very long time.

I think it may have another 10-20 years going for it. If it keeps up that long I cant imagine trying to catch them all though

eventually they will run out of ideas for pokemon. noticed how there is Houndour, Growlithe, Arcanine, poochyena, mightyena, lilipup, Herdier, and Stoutland. ALL of them are dogs.

Mmm... You do realize how many dog breeds there are in the world, right? A lot, and that's not to mention all the different species of canids there are (foxes, wolves, coyotes, hyenas, wild dogs, etc.).

Frankly, I wish people would stop with the incessant ranting about how Pokemon is nearing the end of its life finally when that couldn't be further from the truth. Zelda, Mario, Donkey Kong, amongst other Nintendo series have survived far longer than Pokemon and, if that proves anything, it's that Nintendo knows how to keep its moneymakers alive. I've been a dedicated Nintendo fan since I was a kid, and I honestly don't see Pokemon dying off anytime soon.

Well yes ME was Mass Effect, but the Triology is finished, the games probably won't be made anymore, sure they may be remade, but there won't be a new installment. And Halo, lost it's devs and Infinty Ward (while ago), the series won't last long unless Halo 4 is good.

I've been hearing around people don't like the 5th generation much as the previous ones. If Pokemon were to run out of ideas to draw new ones, then people might lose their grip on Pokemon, especially the VGC people.

Well I lost interest in the Anime and Games after Hoen. But the card game is still something I love. There is alot of young people that like the anime and games clearly it isn't dying since the games are selling millions

The TCG will never die. The VGC may, when the people at Nintendo can't think of any new Pokemon ideas. How are they supposed to change the stats? The anime will just get annoying because there won't be any new lands to discover, or TPCi will just add onto original stuff and ruin everything.

I agree..I'm already loosing my grip on both Video Game and Trading Card. The being is these new generations are just not as good as the classics and the idea they just keep looping makes me loose my interest. For example, instead of coming up with new ideas ( Assuming they have not ran out of ) they went back to legendaries, shiny, and EX cards. That was way back before the Primes and Level up Level X cards. The Video Games are just making new pokemon off the old ones, we now have many pokemon with similarities however I do like the movies and anime. They always seem more modern and stays up to date with the media as well as having a good plot to my interest.
