Will perhaps help in worlds.... but if they can take out (Catcher/Reversal) magnezones before setup = doomed. Which is not hard to do especially when catcher comes. but now it's more luck based. Same thing would've happened with TyphloRam if ppl didn't underestimate the deck all the time.Darkvoid57 said:Magnezone: Hard Hitter, Energy can be put towards him instead of Yanmega, draw power
Yanmega: Free hits, Snipes Babies, just fast
and when used with Judge/Copycat:
Judge: Disrupt, and still get the 6 cards with magnetic draw
Copycat: Instant hit
Explained?
Darkvoid57 said:Magnezone set up takes 2-3 turns max. The most I see then having set up in that time is Reshiram, and that's still not an OHKO.
Plus, not every deck runs catcher
Indeed, was planning to use 2 catchers in my BearPlume deck. Can use evolving strategically with vileplumes if got seeker in hand. ^^konter_j8902 said:EVERY good deck will run catcher, except Maybe Plume varients, and they would be smart to play 1-2

By the time you get first yanmega, TyphloRam gets typhlo, reshi and ninetales ready if deck is correctly built. Same with most other properly built Tier1 decks.

Yoshidude10 said:^It gets better to an extent. With Catcher, they better be running Switch, or their Magnezone will either be stuck in the Active or KO'd. That means decks like Donchamp can set-up(which IMO will be the BDIF), and could give you some trouble with drawing power(besides Copycat and Judge).
I have no doubt that Yanmega will continue with success over Catcher, but I'm not sure if Megazone is the best variant. MegaJudge is shaping up to be the best Yanmega variant.
