Couldn't agree more... I played Base set 1 and for some reason my mindset has trouble adjusting to the "win by T1/2" of today... yeah... that's what i'm blaming my suckiness on :p

@qnetykz honestly i expected the game to be drastically different... but it was really cool that I could just borrow a deck from a friend and pick it back up fairly easily... for a game to be around 11 years and have minimal change it's formula show's how successful the game really is...

my target hasnt leaked it lol i went and looked today... but i can understand how it makes pre-releases not so special... but we already had ours in the area... come to think of it i know the games are legality issues and i thought cards would be too... maybe not tho... so i may have to recant...

youre right tho, building modified decks are the key to staying afloat during rotations... unfortunately i can't think of spectacular deck ideas for the HG and HGUL that are so prevalent right now with the DP-on series... hahaha most ppl who go to casinos don't end up for the better... and...

I hope they keep Platinum and on... but Yeah I wouldn't mind if they got rid of all the platinum stuff b/c I just started playing the game again and have mostly HGS and soon HGUL :p. I do have some platinum: arceus but nothing spectacular. HGSS reminds me of when i played base set... all this...

I love opening tons of booster packs and going through the cards. As a matter of fact I just bought my first couple of booster boxes, just waiting on them to ship and get here. I like to trade. And yes I would buy online

the boxes are probably close to wholesale but wholesale is probably a little cheaper... you gotta remember that collectandsave, dacardworld, thegatheringground and so on are making money on them... to get wholesale like those websites are getting you have to order massive amounts at a time and...

RE: The "I pulled something cool" topic. I bought 5 HG and 5 PA booster packs. Only a Psy Arceus in the Arceus packs. But a Meganium Prime, Blissey Prime and Ho-Oh Legend (Top) out of the 5 HG... I thought that's a decent pull, 'cept for the Arceus b.s.

Cool I was going to use thegatheringground.com but it looks like collect and save may be cheaper! Just one question tho: Do they restock regularly? I see PT is out right now and want to buy a box of them... Thanks for any response in advance!
