    Tentacruel (TM # 50) {7/2/12}

    Ah. Well in that case, this card is just an inferior version of Vanilluxe, since it can't be played with both Vileplume and Super Scoop Up, and Seeker won't be enough to use the paralyze attack every turn. If you play it without Vileplume, they have enough Switches with Junk Arm to render the...

    Tentacruel (TM # 50) {7/2/12}

    Nope, there's a Devolution Spray in BW5, that might be coming out in Dragons Exalted. http://pokebeach.com/scans/japanese/bw5/dragon-blast/48.jpg It could see a nice combo with that and maybe Sableye to get Devolution Sprays back on turns that you don't need to paralyze. It would be a...

    Future Metagame Speculation Thread

    RE: The Official Black and White-On Metagame Speculation Thread It sounds really consistent. Empoleon/Ninetales also sounds really good since normally Empoleon struggles against Accelgor/Gothitelle, since 140 is s magic number for Accelgor, meaning it gets KO'ed going into the Accelgor player's...

    Tentacruel (TM # 50) {7/2/12}

    I could see it having some potential next format with SSU and Devolution Spray as a replacement for Accelgor. Accelgor can use Gothitelle but is pretty inconsistent and slow, so this could be decent with decks only running 2-3 Switch and no Junk Arm.

    Marowak (TM # 44) {7/3/12}

    I heard of a deck using this with Eelektrik/Fliptini/Zapdos that almost made Top Cut at nationals. If whoever made that deck would like to explain more about it, I'd be interested to learn more about it.

    Translations for New Cards: Electivire, Dusknoir,Lunatone,Ether,Scizor!

    If Flygon sees play, it won't be because of it's attack. It will likely be used with Max Potion, no energy and tons of disruption.

    Rotation: Love It or Hate It?

    One thing I've noticed that I really like about it is that most dead hands are fixed by an opponent's N, so games are less often decided by topdecks. Still, a lot of decks feel like they're on auto-pilot for the majority of the game, like Garchomp, since there's usually only one attacker...

    Future Metagame Speculation Thread

    RE: The Official Black and White-On Metagame Speculation Thread KlinKlang might be better actually because it has a much better weaknes, FIre rather than Dragon. The energy acceleration for Hydreigon will probably make it a little better though, if not slightly more vulnerable to Garchomp/Altaria.

    Will Zekeels see a decrease in viability once the BW-on format is in play?

    Rayeels is forced to run Prism/Fire, which forces you to either exclude or reduce the amount of DCE in your deck, which hurts a lot more than you may think. Catcher on an Eelektrik will be deadly when Switch isn't readily available with your Junk Arms.

    Translations for New Cards: Electivire, Dusknoir,Lunatone,Ether,Scizor!

    Blaziken is a horrible card and I don't understand why people play it. It does essentially what a Zekrom with a Plus Power does in a Stage 2 with not great typing. It will be horrible against Kyurem since with Eviolite, it can't OHKO and it will easily get OHKO'ed back with Outrage if you attack...

    US Nationals 2012

    Is it a red affro? Because I think I saw him at Worlds last year. I only remember so distinctly because it was HUGE.

    I don't know about speed, but it will probably be pretty consistent with Musharna.

    Are there any cards to replace Smeargle and Junk Arm in the new format?

    Well it's a flip, and I find that as long as I play carefully with my resources I don't need anything back.

    Translations for New Cards: Electivire, Dusknoir,Lunatone,Ether,Scizor!

    I don't see Darkrai working in this deck because you don't want to change your energy lines too much for Ether. I'd run: 2-2 Musharna 4 Kyurem 2 Terrakion 2 Lunatone 3-1-3 Duknoir 4 Ether I could see that working out decently, since you really only need one Ether to work per Kyurem, assuming...

    Are there any cards to replace Smeargle and Junk Arm in the new format?

    You don't need Sableye. Replace Junk Arm with a more conservative playstyle. Every time you go to play a Catcher, Eviolite or Plus Power ask yourself, "Do I need to play this? Would I be better off saving this card for a better use?". In HGSS-On you could play all your trainers willy-nilly...

    BW-On Garchomp/Altaria

    I've played about 5 or 6 games with this deck and here's what I've learned so far, based on my personal preference. -Emolga is unneccessary. I haven't tried it out, but theory says that it's bad. It's pretty unlikely that you'll get it turn 1 since you can't retreat whatever you start with and...

    Translations for New Cards: Electivire, Dusknoir,Lunatone,Ether,Scizor!

    Dusknoir isn't nearly as important to KO as Kyurem. Even without a Dusknoir out, Kyurem is a very strong card and if it spreads several times, your opponent will be in serious trouble.

    Eelektross in zekeels

    Once Vileplume is out, though, Eelektross will be much easier to get out than Eevee and Espeon if you didn't already bench Eevee. Also, once Vileplume is out Eelektross is just as hard to get as Espeon, but it's one less card and arguably works better since you can KO Vileplume if they don't...

    Translations for New Cards: Electivire, Dusknoir,Lunatone,Ether,Scizor!

    Kyurem either does up to 180 damage, or if your opponent limits their bench, they're severely limiting their options. Kyurem/Dusknoir would also run other attackers in case your opponent has too few Pokemon on their bench, what the meta looks like then would decide the other attackers. Like...

    Eelektross in zekeels

    It is hard to draw against Trainer Lock but you'll eventually hit it off a supporter. It's no harder to search out than an Espeon line is.
