Wow, I'm in love with this set now that we have translations. Still a bit bummed about the lack of new draw/search cards, but so many cards in this set have potential and the art is absolutely gorgeous on most cards (still wish Shizurow would have done the EXes though).

Lame. I'm glad it's not a reprint of another energy, but this isn't quite what I expected. Just waiting for them to ditch these obnoxious energy costs (seriously, there is no reason to ever have a non-delta species Giratina require grass energy) and make a proper Dragon Energy.

I think Amoongus + Druddigon + Rocky Helmet would make for a fun deck. I don't know how much competitive value it would have since its damage output would be fairly low, but it would be fun for league or something.

Personally I don't run Ninetails in my build of the deck and it works just fine. If you want that consistent draw power I'd maybe run PokeGear in it's place, but even still my build is plenty consistent without either of them. Though I would opt for PokeGear if I had to choose between them...

If you want something for the Durant matchup, I'd probably just say use Zekrom B&W. He's probably lighting's best counter to durant since after several bolt strikes he can just use outrage for OHKOs. Running Reshi EX you sacrifice some consistency and pulling the right energy in that durant...

RE: A deck from the future: Darkrai EX and Dragon B. Hydreigon (it doesn't have name yet) Why would you not run Darkness Patch in this deck? I think they'd be better than Energy Retrieval since it attaches the energy to your pokemon instead of just putting it in your hand.
