Just for the record, my original post about feeling like I had to throw up had to do with how disgustingly cheap the ingredients are and the quality of the food. Anytime I eat fast food, it's usually Jack in the Box, so the food is better quality.
It's like downgrading to go to BK.
I thought you live in southern California. If so, where are all the In-N-Out Burgers? They should be all over the place. They don't even freeze their meat, though that may be a misnomer considering the USDA now considers meat frozen only if it's less than 28 degrees Fahreinheit (about -2.5 degrees Celcius).

most cats and dogs depend on humans for food so they sometimes kill because it's just an urge they sometimes get because that's what they would do on thier own if they didn't have people feeding them. plus, cats and big dogs were bred to kill. cats kill pests while some of the bogger dogs are guard or fighting dogs. a big fish picking on a little fish? well thats what they do in the ocean because it's just an instinct.
I don't have any idea where you get the humane part of it but if you think that they baby an animal before their death, you are wrong. they could care less about the animals' pain. I've seen reports where pigs were boiled alive and cows hung upside down with a cable while the people just beat it until it starts coughing up blood. the people who at those places don't make sure that every little animal is not suffering or that the methods used are humane. they get bored and think it's funny to beat downed cows or snap the necks of chicken.
And these cats and dogs kill because humans provide them with the free time available to hunt for fun. You don't see lions or coyotes in the wild hunt for fun in the wild because, for the most part, they must concentrate on survival and nurturing their young. They have very little time for hunting for fun, and the risks upon them are far too great.
Of course some places will have crueler methods. The ways many slaughterhouses do it now are ways recommended by the USDA. There are many smaller places that'll do it the way they want to, and they do it in secret
because they know their image would be shot otherwise. There are sadistic humans who will skin a cat alive because they find it fun. I don't like what these people do, but it is certainly wrong in saying that every single meat provider tortures animals. That sounds like propaganda from the PETA.
Also, boiling an animal alive kills it very quickly. Lobsters, for instance, die within three seconds, if I remember correctly.

Fast food doesn't kill you if you eat it in moderation. I love how some people all of a sudden have turned up there nose at fast food. Like you've never had it before.
I would agree. I eat fast food on occasion from most chains that I've been to, but eating a single hamburger isn't going to destroy your life. It sounds like as if some people here are competitive health nuts, trying to go for as long as possible eating only the foods perceived as healthy (though, like with meat products, eating too much vegetables with little else can also kill you).
It's like a lot of people are afraid of the
Debu Note. (Sorry, I just had to bring this up, what with all the paranoia here and all.) As a matter of fact, I think I'll go get myself a BK Stacker tomorrow as I haven't had one in over a year.
