With four flips, you'll generally hit for 100. But most likely 50-150. Then you can alter tht with Fliptini, if you only hit 0-50, but the attack is high costing, for the amount of luck involved, when there is Mewto hitting 40-alottadamage, and then we now have the factor of 140 can be 2HKOd or sometimes OHKOd.

That's not what Exploud does. It has Round that does 50 per Pokemon with round you have for {C}{C}{C}{C}.

My mistake, well that's worse then, because of or lack of pokemon search.

Assuming you can still use Transform even when a Basic is played, it lets you switch to another Pokemon at any point (surprise factor). If not, then Ditto isn't good.

I hope that's the case, otherwise it's just pointless.

Me too.

Crustle - in a game full of OHKOs this guy could at the very least make for a fun league deck . Maybe pair him with a ton of healing crap, idk.

Crustle + Gold Potion (1 time use though, Junk Arm will be gone and there's only Sableye)

------------------

A lot of new and interesting stuff in this set

First, the amount of Ultra Rares in this set is kinda ridiculous, but ok...

Charizard - That's got to be the best Charizard artwork ever (and one of the best from the set)... Looks so real. Really amazing. Also, 160HP was unexpected. Charizard have always had a lot of HP in the TCG (even though it is frail in the games), but I was expecting it to have "only" 150HP. Too bad the card sucks in playability. The only ideia I have for it is using it to snipe with the first attack and with Celebi-EX, use Charmeleon's Rage-like attack when it gets damaged. The one from the Arceus set was better.

Piloswine & Mamoswine - so many coin flips...

Cresselia-EX - I think that attack cost might be too heavy...

Munna & Musharna - I guess the combo is you're supposed to use a benched Munna to either put the defending Pokémon or the Active Musharna to sleep and still attack with Musharna

Why not a Meloetta-Pirouette in Cold Flare to pair with the Aria one in Freeze Bolt?

Liepard, a holo? Really?

Raticate - 60HP? That ends any possibility of using it. It's just shameful...

So, they decided to change the layout of the shinies a bit... Nice decision, probably should have been done earlier.

Blastoise - Rain Dance return is good but that art is freakin' ugly...

Swoobat - Wildfire incarnation ftw... You don't even have to discard the energies. Too bad it won't work nowadays...

Nice, Fighting-type Dwebble and Crustle...

lol, Dunsparce, lol...

Exploud - another Round attacker, don't know if it will work with the others though...

Computer Search Reprint! I have a few of the old ones... To think that it even came in a theme deck and now it's an Ultra-rare...

I like that Bianca FA

@Terrakion: "OMG it's you, not again!"

I told you, Crustle+Reuniclus+Black Kyurem EX+Crystal Wall+Damagriiiiigus. Just let yourself get hit and transfer all the damage to BK EX, with it's 300 HP. When you get as high as you can, Switch to Damagriigus and move it all to the defending pokemon. OHKO everything but opposing BK EX. the only issue is that cofagrigus is gonna die after that hit, so you have to have another one ready. It also autoloses to Dusknoir variants.

So the female Frillish and Jellicent are shoved into the background of the art for the third consecutive time in cards from three different sets?

And the male form of Unfezant is the one they picked to appear in the same set as the above BS?

Oh, Japan, you must really adore women. :p

The more I read this the more I wish they were here already. I love spread decks, and Flygon with surprise Celebi EX could be a fun little deck. Too bad it only has 140 in comparison to Scolipede at 150. That and Dragon Weakness is gonna' hurt too badly to ever see very much play. =/

ya just get about 180 damage on kyurem, then i'll just use a tool scrapper for 2 prizes

Wow these cards are really cool. The Charizard card is so amazing that I so want that card and can't wait for the new Genesect unveil and can't wait for 6th gen Pokemon XD.:)

Anybody else thinking of running Charizard with Large Cloak and Celebi EX? Charizard would be very difficult to OHKO, and he can use Charmeleon's Rage attack to do lots of damage, or Charmander's charge-like attack to power up a new one quickly.

There are a few problems with Charizard;
1) Water Weakness (with Blastoise in the picture of being meta, this will cause problems)
2) First attack isn't so good
3) The second attack will require acceleration for it to be any good, also, you'll need to get energy back.
4) On energy acceleration, Charizard's form of accel is Emboar, which is sadly a Stage 2. A deck with 2 Stage 2s and Catcher problems? No thanks.

Now that I look at it again, the lack of dragons is disappointing. only the Kyu EXes and Flygon chain? Really?

All of the types are pretty messed up in this set. Only two Darkness and Metal cards between both subsets. A whopping six Lightning, and four Dragons within the regular numbering. But, hey! 20 Colorless and 18 Grass Pokemon, because why not?

I suddenly have a feeling that Bianca FA and Cheren FA are going to be released as promos in english, becase set consistency will be messed up (how many would we get?)
Also, I doubt Stoutland will be a meta deck (Fighting Weakness, not good attack, Catcher problems)

besides the point of 20 extra damage and 20 extra hp why wouldnt you run blaziken over charizard, seeing as it needs on 3 energies to use its second attack?

Probably because Charizard's pre-evos actually help him, and 150 is 2 pluspowers away from OHKO'ing an EX. Though Rage Claws would probably be more used, using that attack once to OHKO an EX can be pretty awesome. Oh, and the ability to snipe 2 Tynamos or whatever doesn't hurt either.

Also, it's Charizard!

Ditto looks amazing if I'm reading it correctly.

How are you reading it? Cause I don't see it as too useful... Unless you can transform after you've already transformed.

The wording makes it seem like once Ditto is already in play for one turn, you can turn it into a basic and then evolve it the same turn.
