(1) New Pokemon Revealed on 'Oha Suta' [6/28]

If the spider is an Ariados evo does that mean we might get a Ledian evo? O god I hope so. xD

I just found this:

Pepsis Wasp
It's commonly called the "Tarantula Hawk", and it's sting is described as "Blinding, fierce, shockingly electric. A running hair drier has been dropped into your bubble bath."

This is from the Schmidt Sting Pain Index, as the second highest on that list.

I just thought it was strange that It was the Tarantula Hawk's venom that is described as this, when it's the Tarantula that's supposed to be electric.

the green one's face looks like Budew...at least i think so.
oh and that rock dude...could it be an evo of Sableye?

The trailer was very cool. But the pokemon looks a little weird. But they seems to be very tough.Maybe some of them are 2nd stage because they look too big.The other thing that was strange was how come the protagonists pokemon are sent out before the female character. And I like the idea that we will get the starters as a gift and not from the professor of the region.I think this could tell that Black will start hi adventure as an explorer and we might have to solve some type of discoveries as puzzles then after a little while we will get a starter.

Man, I'm usually optimistic and such about new designs, but some of these Pokemon are really gross. The game itself looks promising, though!

But... triple battles? I hope they make it so not all 6 Pokemon get to move on the same turn, or something. It would be too chaotic a system to work otherwise.

Why triple battles? Matches are going to be longer than necessary.

2v2 is must faster paced than 1v1, so if anything 3v3 matches will be extremely short. 4-5 turns max per match, I'd say.

Yeah, I've noticed the ghostly arms. I'm not sure, but I'm getting the feeling that this new "Pokemon" will be a Ghost and Steel-type, or Ghost and Ground-type. Dunno why, but I just have that thought. :>

Woah, I was thinking the exact same thing. That would be so win if it was. :3

I was thinking more along the lines of Nosepass, but I really don't see that happening since he already has an evo.

3 on 3 at first blush seems like overkill. As long as it ends there, but now for vgc its going to be like ff tactics, complete with healers, buffers, tanks etc.. It doesn't feel familiar to the pokemon world.

As far as explosion abuse im 100% positive area of affect, damage, & accuracy will be modified for for 3 on 3 gamebreakers.

Hello everybody, I'm a french new member.

I think the word "shooter" is because the character is in the Safari Zone and it is to weaken pokemons

I agree, and politely disagree at the same time.
There are certain types of venom that paralyze the injected prey.
and I've heard of types of venom, that when in the body, feel like electrocution. That could be a possible connection, however extreme it may sound.
does that make sense to anyone else? I might be crazy...

Ah I suppose they could use that as an explanation, if they needed to. It would only really make sense if it was a physical electric type though. Thunder Fang instead of Thunderbolt.

That would be great. xD Bug/Fighting type... with wings... and boxing gloves.

This game looks better and better.
The first time i saw the game i was like 'OMG This is awesome'.
But now...'I must be dreaming!'

Lol, I'm not sure why you guys think Ononokusu is a mantis. Nothing about it says "bug."

A friend of mine suggested that the green blob is sort of like a cell.

My friends and I like to refer to the black and white pokemon as "Marley," lol.

The stone guy looks nothing like the Nosepass line...

Desukaan is kinda cool, with all the armss and feelers coming out of its shadow.

I agree with this.

I disagree with this. Poor choice of words: "The stone guy looks NOTHING like the Nosepass line...".

He will never be an evo to Nosepass (at least I hope not), but they DO look a tiny bit similar.

It might be the Nosepass family's rivals? I mean... many Pokemon have rivals. Like the Machops is rival to Abras and Stunkys is to Glameows...

Btw. after drawing a sketch of that black-girly-thing, I actually found it pretty awesome and epic! At least for what I can see! I can upload it, just skectched- no colors, maybe along with the others too? XD

It being a new nosepass evolution is not so out of the question. Looks like a bunch of them squished together and slightly chopped up.

Also as for Desukaan, It's probably meant to be something like "Death-khan" in English tongue.
desu= Japanese pronounciation of English word "Death"
Kaan= kan/Khan; An Egyptiany sounding name

Also the "ono" in Ononokusu is most likely "Axe'.

I'd imagine it's already been said since I read above that some people are saying "denchura" has electric in it, but yes, it most likely does.
den=electricity
chura- (taran)tula

Here is that black-girly-thing in my eyes:

Actually after looking a little on its hands, it looks like a white puffy thing and then some pink hands along with its pink face, with red limps and blue eyes :3
