LOL to Rotom. If it is Rotom I swear,Nintendo lost its mind. The Ponytail thing might be its tail.It hasen't been proven.

Yea, I thought I'd make a pretty epic return to Pokebeach. Havn't been active on the forums in forever.

Not a great drawing overall as it was rushed because I want to go to bed, but this is sort of how I think it will look if it is a -yena evo.

The drawing is not all that bad.

SPECULATION!

Imagine Xous's red Z with white fur instead of black.

Add in Z.

The white-colored design, to me, seems almost like a Zangoose evolution.

Hm..I can see where your coming from for Zangoose.Might be.Next OU conetender.LOL nah.I doubt it.Soemthing new I guess.

This dude wins this thread.
Anyway, when I first saw the silhouette, I thought it looked like a Zangoose evolution, as pointed out by Crystal Hikara. When I read on a little further, the Mightyena theory seemed likely, but I'm still unsure. I think it's probably an evolution of something, I just don't know what.

If it is Mightyena,Its the new OU Poke that might replace Lucario :O. LOL JK.

I think that this will be a completely new Pokemon that is Dark/Fighting type and can take the form of anyone, but it doesn't takes form, it only creates an Illusion so those who see it may confuse it with the form of the thing that it decided to took.
Or an all Mightyena evolution! :D
BTW, palkia dialga clash, where did you got that blue pokemon image that Xous made?
Because Xous made it with Red and Black colors, not with blue.

And I don't think that it has a Ponytail, I think that it has a tail.
And the shape of the head reminds me the head of a Floatzel.

Ohh, I haven't see it, can you post it here?
Because it looks so awesome and epic.

Please be sure to watch some of the words you use. Thanks! ~Xous

Well this announcement is a sure way to get me back on the forums:
Has anyone [closely] checked the current season intro in Japan for clues? Remember that the Advanced Battle opening showed Weavile [.25-.26] and Lucario [.45] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5rkPLnDSyY
Just a thought.
and my 2 cents worth: Possibly a new form....most likely an evo. I can't see a Lucario evo, mainly because I don't want it to be a Lucario evo...Lucario already had it's movie...Mightyena is more likely, but a 'werewolf' type Pokemon will just clash with the whole Twilight craze that's going on.
Who knows...

I'm sorry... I think I'm gonna hate this new Pokemon. It just seems too... trying to be cool/new-age/monster-y. Almost like a Digimon. I'd much prefer it as an evolution to Mightyena.

Look in Xous's thread.Avatars and art.Hm..the Lucario Weaviel thing si dead. Its more Mightyena now.

I think the shadowed out pokemon is a Ninetales evolution

It has a lot of similarities

Like the mouth, head hair, and Ninetails is a Kitsune. A fox demon that is able to transform into humans. Just look at the silhouete and look at Ninetails.

Ninetales, like Vulpix, are based on foxes. However, in Japan there are certain legends concerning foxes, or kitsune, as they are known there. One such legend which relates to Ninetales the most is how many-tailed foxes can breathe fire, create illusions, and have extremely long lifespans. After living a long time, these creatures take on spirit forms, which may be the reason why these two related Pokémon can learn Ghost-type moves.

"In Just Waiting On A Friend", a very old Ninetales befriended Brock, who bore a resemblance to her long lost master. This Ninetales created all sorts of illusions, including one of a woman through which it spoke.

Lets not forget how much emphasis has been put on nine tails in the past. Heck it was the main plot point in the first mystery dungeon!

Id love a Floatzel evo :p that would be cool for me :) but i think the tails still a flame lol

Oh and btw- I'm not saying that I think it could be Lucario/Weavile. In previous season intros- they have revealed next-gen Pokemon...I just haven't had a chance [or have been able to find] the current opener...

Hm..Ninetails is possible..This topic is heating up!Most replyed news stroy I ever seen.
