Not really...school is for education, I really have no idea why you would think it is not, it is pretty obvious. Homeless shelters keep people off the streets, schools are for education.
The debt is 10 Trillion for our economic problems, but 60 Trillion is our debt to other countries like China and so on.
I do not really see the USA in debt. I know that may sound stupid, but all countries really owe debt to us:
-Who stopped Hitler from ruling the world? The US
-Who stopped WW1 and WW2? The US
-Who is trying to set up a democracy in Iraq? The US
-Who was in Vietnam like no one else? The US
-WHo made sure that Gorbachev was not a complete psychopath? The US
Many others too, they are in debt, we are not.
I didn't mean keep them off the streets as to be that they are bums. :/ They are kids, and if they are roaming the streets, logically, bad things are bound to happen. So take away 6-7 hours from this free time, and give them homework/projects to further this. Oh, and lets just make it so businesses like the idea of a graduate as being more effiecent then a non-grad, just because they showed up to class and bsed thier way through school, only furthering the need to attend school. This is of course all in theory, but should sound resonable.
Not from what I've been told. But meh, who really cares? Yes, it's a rediculously huge number, but do you really think it's going to do anything? No. Other countries will bail are butts out, because we are so globalized *looks at china*.
-I guess, though not entirely true (those dang british sure helped. lol).
-We didn't stop it....I think vetrans will attest to this. :/ We did end both wars, but really, we didn't effective end the wars (since WWII wouldn't have happened if we had actually shut down Germany...but we're American. lol).
-Can be viewed as good and bad.
-...?
-Because we were the only other super power that could handle Russia (though I'm sure China could've, with U.S. support)
Of course they are. We are going to be fine. And if not, then bleh, just beat the crap out of them, right? lol

Yes, T-Tar. We ARE.
-Who invaded the middle east when there was no nuclear weapons? The US
-Who BARELY helped out at all in WW1?? The US.
-Who decided to stay in the middle east when there was no nuclear weapons even though we could have pulled out, and our soldiers were dying?? the US.
We should have pulled out a long time ago. And yes, you really can't blame the Prez. The House of Reps/Senate/Prez all have EQUAL powers, if I read the Constitution right?
-That was just an excuse to continue daddy's war and remove a problamatic dictator.
-....It pulled us out of the Depression. That alone helped the world durning and beyond WW1. :/
-True. However, this isn't really that bad of a war. Not alot of soldiers have died in this war, as compared to most of the wars fought within human history. Thats simply because of how the war is being fought and has nothing to do with how many troops we have in Iraq. We could probably keep 5000 troops in Iraq, with 50000 ready for dispatching, and still maintain order, simply because of how the war is being fought.
Incorrect, and badly. President has gained ALOT of powers that are not in the Constituion, and have made him therefore stronger then the founders imagined, although I would say that they are probably more balanced now then before.
