well, munchlax showed up after ash got all 8 badges. so, we have to wait really long,; he has got only 2 till now. but battle-frontier was part of 3rd gen saga. Now if sinnoh is not followed by a trailing-league, then we might be lucky to find about the 5th gen while ash is still on his 5th or 6th badge. still then, its a long time to wait!

i just checked....they showed kecleon during the mid of johto season. just around the time ash won the 5th badge!
