and i'm not surprised if Ash gets a GHost type this season...maybe the Spiritomb?:p

He isn't going to get his 6th Pokemon until after the 5th gym at the latest.

He did get a shiny but I really don't think he will get riolu not sure why ewveryone think so all of a sunden.

Exactly people. Someone was saying earlier that it a bad thing when one of them had the same as a leader and Maylene has a Lucario and so does Cynthia.

Update: People I just went to Pokemon.com at random and when to the mailbag. It said that May won't be making an apperance in the near future (CRAP!) But it says something about the Pokemon Wingull will be featured. Maybe Brock or Dawn will get one. There's no way Ash can get one because he already has a flying Pokemon and a water Pokemon.

Here is what I think will be ash's final team:

Pikachu
Staraptor
Floatzel
INfernape
Grotle ( I don't think it Grotle will evolve this season)


And ash's final pokemon should be...


Weavile

weavile might be a chance though...

off Topic: Is it me or does ash ALWAYS get a flying type in every season?

He ALWAYS gets a flying type every season.

Pidgeot, etc..

And they Always reach the Last Stage and the earliest amongst all.

He will get infernape becasue he has chimchar.

They don't always evolve to the final form, bayleaf, cynadquil, totadile, suirtle, pikachu and many more never did.

Weavile isn't going to happen. Paul already has one and they haven't had a Pokemon that one of their rivals have since Richie and he was basicly a clone.

weavile- well, thats a good guess! i forgot that weavile is a fourth gen. pokemon. but remember ash already had an encounter with an weavile in the battle frontier, but he let it go. and since he hardly catches a pokemon at a second encounter i dont think weavile will be in Ash's team.
and i doubt he will have an infernape. monfernape seems likely!

yes....its Monferno.....sorry! In bulbapedia, they found this pattern-

Bulbasaur-primary stage
Bayleef-1st stage evolution
Sceptile-2nd stage evolution
turtwig-so, again primary stage....the cycle continues!

well, if turtwig does nt evolve I do want chimchar to go as far as Infernape.
OR, maybe both chimchar and turtwig will evolve once and will turn into Monferno and Grotle!
