Ask a Play! Pokémon Question

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

Question, what prizes are given away at states? (last year it was something like 36 Booster Packs and a $300 travel allowance to nats or something right?)

Did you try the event locator on www.pokemon.com yet? You might also check the subforums of this to see if anything near you has been posted.

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

For some reason the edit profil section of my POP account does not have the participate in all play events button. Can some one please tell why that is and how I can fix it?

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

I know this is kinda a stupid question but where do I veiw my Play! Points? I think I have 4, but can't seem to find them.... :/

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

I'm assuming you're already logged in. Click on the "My Play! Pokemon" tab. Under My Stats, it shows your Premier Rating, Championship Points, Cycle Play! Points, and Lifetime Play! Points. I think there were issues with the totals before, but it looks like it's probably fixed now? I haven't kept up with it. The Cycle and Lifetime are what you're asking about and it should have a number next to those as well as a little clock icon that shows your Cycle Points history (where and how you got them). I hope this helps.

dmaster out.

What are the differences between my Championship Play! Points, Cycle Play! Points and my Lifetime Play! Points?

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

Your Championship Play! Points are points that you earn from performing in a specific rank in tournaments/premier events. For example, I would earn Champion Points for placing in first at a States tournament (which will never happen), or Top Cutting at a certain standing at Nationals. Your Cycle Play! Points are the amount of points you have earned for the season for going to leagues, premier events, and tournaments. For example, I would earn 3 Play! Points for attending 2 league seasons and 1 tournament. Finally, Lifetime Play! Points are the amount of points that you have earned during your entire career of recorded events of you playing in a league, tournament, or premier event.

Actually premier tournaments count for at least 2 Play Points. ~Glaceon

This is sorta silly, but does vileplume block stadiums? I'm pretty us it doesn't but I want to be absolutely sure.

It doesn't, and that's probably something that goes in the rulings forum. (Not to minimod)

This can be asked here: http://www.pokebeach.com/forums/forum-card-rulings-game-mechanics

It does not though.

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

I'm having a bit of trouble understanding Organized Play! points. I've been playing the game for 12 years and I still don't get these thingies. :p
So, for example to be qualified for Nationals a total of 10 Play! Points is required. When I look at my Pokemon profile (on Pokemon.com) I can't seem to find these Play! points. Here is what I do find:
Premier Rating
Championship Points
Cycle Play! Points
Lifetime Play! Points
So, which of these is it? The Cycle ones, the lifetime ones? I'm pretty sure I know what the Premier one is, but I don't get what good it does you. Also I'm a little sketchy on what the Championship points do for me. So, if you could explain to me what all of these points do and what I need to qualify for Nationals, it would be very helpful. Domo arigato!

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

You need the Cycle Play! Points to participate in Nationals. Championship Points only really matter if you are trying to go to Worlds. I'm sure someone that is more of a competitive player could explain Championship Points better.

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

I decided to see what tournaments there will be in California for the near future, and the only one is in Pleasanton on April 14th. I was told there'd be something in Long Beach this month. Did I miss it, or was I misinformed?
