Best set released so far

Yay, more debating. X_x I'll just wait for more people to say before I say the other set and start argueing...

Well for me the best sets has been bewtwen the diamond and pearl set is hard to see which maybe is because all have good and bad things and they are all connected so i don't really know which to choose

i am tied between SW(GALLADE&GARDEVOIR!!!!!!!), CG(a bunch of handy stadiums/tools/whatever),DF(awesome pokemon: T-Tar EX and Garde EX), and MT(i got 2 magmortars and a electivire LV X!!!!)

mysterious treasures. It has TSD, lucario lvl x, blissey, a bunch of other good trainers. Plus it has feraligatr, vire lvl x, magmortar lvl x. The number of good cards are just the best, plus a couple of personal favorites are in this set :p

SW, when cessesion is out of format, G and G win PWN all other decks in existance.

By that time we'll have a lot more cards to take into account.

SW and MT provided most playable cards, methinks. But DP brought a revolution. As did HP.

Still, GE will trump them all.

I say a tie between MT and SW. I say that because both sets brought a huge amount of playable cards, and it also brought a huge new batch of decks to the metagame. But, as LC said, DP did bring a revolution and brought a few cards we still see today.

And if the Eeveelutions and Fossils would have been in the set, GE would trump all. But since the set will not have them, I'm not sure....although, we do get Candy again...

Well, SW has a lot of "good" cards, but IMO, MT has better cards for decks. MT has Blissey, TSD, Lucario Lv.X, Magmortar Lv.X, Electivire Lv.X, Feraligatr, Bronzong (who will most likely be replacing delcatty), Typhlosion, Exeggutor, Raichu, Garchomp, Rampardos, Bastiodon, Chingling/Chimecho, Alakazam and some good trainers, such as Fossil Excavator, Dusk Ball, and Night Maintenance.

Holon Phantoms & Great Encounters are my favorite sets..Although Leafeon was cut out T_T
Wanted to make Leafeon/Sceptile, thought of it as soon as I saw the spoilers..
And I agree with Beachdudelbi.. Power Keepers was terrible, except for Jolteon* and the Fossil Evoltuions..
I'd always open a pack and find a Holo-Energy for my holo and/or a Darkness or Metal energy for my rare lol..

I never liked Power Keepers for some reason...

That was the set I got the fewest amount of boosters in.

I would normally assume that the last set of an era would be good, but in the ex sets, it wasn't.

Last sets of eras, according to the beachs front page (gym was only 2 sets so pointless to bring it up). If you can find me as many playable cards from those sets COMBINED as in PK I'll give up.

I haven't been a TCg fan for long, so I really don't know much about old cards...
I was just saying that's what I would assume, having no clue about the old sets. But, the last DP set might be good...

Got to be DF.... I don't understand how anyone can ever say HP, when without it we would have hardly any decks... no candy :p

^Again, pop4-5. And DF is definately the best EX set around...well, maybe behind CG.

Hardly anyone has candy from pop 4 and 5... and nothing at all good came out of DF.

Well, I don't know actually...I think there's a bucnh of bad ones. The regular Team Rocket was REALLY bad, as they had the lowest HP on the universe.
