Well guys this is my Kanto team and it's specifically for Double Battles and it Consist of:

Seaking

Item: Choice Scarf
Ability: Water Veil
Nature: Adamant
EV Spread: 252-Atk, 252-Spd, 4-HP
IV Spread: 31-Sp Def, 31-Def
Moves: Poison Jab, Waterfall, Megahorn, Return

Machamp

Item: Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
Nature: Jolly
EV Spread: 210-Spd, 200-Atk, 100-Sp Def
IV Spread: 31-Spd, 31-Sp Def, 29-Def
Moves: Cross Chop, Stone Edge, Fire Punch, Protec

Arbok

Item: Choice Specs
Ability: Intimidate
Nature: Timid
EV Spread: 200-Spd, 210-Sp Atk, 100-Sp Def
IV Spread: 31-Spd, 31-Sp Def, 30-HP
Moves: Sludge Bomb, Giga Drain, Mud Bomb, HP(Ice-65)

Dragonite

Item: Focus Sash
Ability: Inner Focus
Nature: Adamant
EV Spread: 252-Atk, 252-Spd, 4-HP
IV Spread: 31-Atk, 31-Spd
Moves: Dragon Rush, Dragon Dance, Ice Punch, ExtremeSpeed

Kangaskhan

Item: Life Orb
Ability: Scrappy
Nature: Adamant
EV Spread: 200-Atk, 100-Spd, 100-Def, 100-Sp Def
IV Spread: 31-Def, 30-Sp Def, 31-HP
Moves: Fake Out, Sucker Punch, Return, Earthquake

Butterfree

Item: Focus Sash
Ability: Compoundeyes
Nature: Modest
EV Spread: 252-Sp Atk, 252-Spd, 4-HP
IV Spread: 31-Spd, 28-Sp Atk
Moves: Tailwind, Bug Buzz, Protect, Sleep Powder

I have 2 leads in this team, the first one is the combination of Kangaskhan+Dragonite-Here Fake Out is the Key for Dragonit to setup it's Dragon Dance. After 1 DD I can outspeed anything even(not choice scarfed) Weaviles, Starmies, Sceptiles, etc I can OHKO Palkia and 2HKO Dialga and Giratina. For Steel types I have Kangaskhan's Earthquake but for Skarmory and Scizor I only have Dragonite's Ice Punch(That's why I was thinking on change it for Fire Punch). And for priorities move I have Dragonite's ExtremeSpeed.

The other way is the combination of Butterfree+Machamp-While Machamp protecs itself and it's flame orb activates I can set my tailwind with Butterfree. Then with the Attack raised by Guts and the Speed raised by the tailwind Machamp can start his sweeping time while in the other hand butterfree can put to sleep one pokemon and then finish it with Machamp. Fire Punch on Machamp for Skarmory and Metagross.

Seaking is a surprise cuz most of all Seaking out there are Choice Banded or Swif Swimmers. With it's speed it can outspeed even a Sceptile and Infernape.

Arbok is most for the lols I didn't knew what other Pokemon to put in it so I decided to put my special Arbok since I like Arbok.

What you guys think? Any suggestions?
PS: I'm new in Pokemon so sorry if I said something wrong

RE: In-game Team Rates

[email protected] (this one really needs help)

Yes, this really does need help. I plan on using Lopunny in Platinum, and this is the desired moveset

Attract
Focus Punch
Dizzy Punch
Return

First, remove Cut and Rock Smash. I would also remove Jump Kick in place of Drain Punch (which, by coincidence, I have on Buneary right now) but if you want to risk it missing and damaging yourself, that's up to you. Also, DO NOT get one with the Klutz ability-it makes it so your own items do NOTHING. Attract is an o.k move, it works well with Focus Punch, especially if the opponent's Pokemon is confused/paralyzed, but I used it for a filler. Hope this helps :]

RE: In-game Team Rates

Some tells me you think hyper beam is awesome? It isn't. You're completely vulnerable to their counter, whether or not they're dead. If they're not dead, that's two attacks you're taking. Base 100 moves with STAB would be of equivalent power, anything higher beats it easier. See Kingdra? Dragon Pulse, used twice, is stronger than Hyper Beam over its two turns by a significant margin.

RE: In-game Team Rates

I'm also seeing Dragons all over the place... Ice types and other Dragons will just sweep your team tbh

Yah, I don't think I've ever found a good use for Hyper Beam. Unless I'm really desperate, and I happen to have a member that has it, it's the last pokemon alive, and it's the only move with PP left, I'd never use it. Anyway, here's my team, I'm not really familiar with competitive battling, so I don't know the terminology, or how to do it effectively. I mostly rely on brute strength to win. Anyway, here goes:

Garchomp
-Dragon Claw
-Dragon Rage
-Crunch
-Dragon Rush

Dusknoir
-Dark Pulse
-Charge Beam
-Night Shade
-Shadow Ball

Dragonite
-Fire Blast
-Blizzard
-Thunder
-(debating of getting Rain dance if it can use it, or a dragon move.)

Blaziken
-Fire Blast
-Sky Uppercut
-Overheat
-(Not sure what to put here)

Lucario
-Aura Sphere
-Close Combat
-ExtremeSpeed
-Dragon Pulse

Sceptile
-Leaf Blade
-Grass Knot
-Aerial Ace
-Detect

Rate, comment, and critique.

BTW, Legault, HK-47 owns all other droids in existence. I love the sig, and the quote =P

RE: In-game Team Rates

Dragon RAge is terrible, worse than Night Shade; both of them can defeinitely break that basic damage cap. Garchomp should have Earthquake or at least some Fire move to cover Steels. Dusknoir's base SpA is 60, I wouldn't try even with Charge Beam. Dragonite's moveset is a bit scattered, thunder and blizzard will likely never hit when they need to. Considering Dragonite's ATt is 134 you should pick some physicals to whack people around with.

RE: In-game Team Rates

Like I said, I'm no good with competitive battling, so yah, you should've expected a semi-fail team =P

So, earthquake on Garchomp, and perhaps flamethrower?

And on Dragonite, some suggestions? And for Dusknoir, no idea what to add on him, I'm not familiar with good Ghost type builds.

RE: In-game Team Rates

Here's a few suggestions:
Garchomp: Lose all the dragon moves. Throw Earthquake or Fire Fang in for rage and claw.
Dusknoir: Calm mind, definetley, if you're going for Sp attack. Shadow ball and dark pulse, most likely. Try to throw in some stall also, like pain split.
Dragonite: IDK why you're using two dragons, but I usually go with a Thunderwave/support dragonite.
Blaziken: Bulk up with Sky uppercut, overheat, and earthquake/stone edge. Try it and see if you like.
Lucario: That's mah moveset you fuel! :p Perfect. Although close combat could be subsituted with dark pulse.
Sceptile: :/ I have no clue what to say. A physical sweeper, perhaps?
Hope I helped!

RE: In-game Team Rates

I might just kick Sceptile from my team as a whole, since he doesn't do much damage in most situations (Not often when I'm faced with a rock type that isn't prepared to deal with Grass >.>), and umm, Dragonite as well. I'll need more coverage, so I might add Metagross. Here's my current one:

Metagross:
-Hammer Arm
-Meteor Mash
-Psychic
-Bullet Punch

Oh and, perhaps recommend some EV's? =)

RE: In-game Team Rates

Max out attack, throw in some HP and a smidge of speed. Here's a better attack list:
Meteor Mash
Earthquake
(Insert element)punch
Agility/explosion
That's my build on him, and it works great. If you need other advice, I'd be happy to help.

RE: In-game Team Rates

FireRed E4 team:
(all lv 57, most will probably level up along the way)
Charizard
-Slash
-Flamethrower
-Fly
-Aerial Ace

Raichu
-Secret Power
-Brick Break
-Strengh
-Thunderbolt

Dugtrio
-Earthquake
-Slash
-Magnitude NEED REPLACEMENT!
-Dig

Vaporeon
-Water Pulse
-Aurora Beam
-Bite
-Surf

Dragonite
-Wing Attack
-Shock Wave
-Dragon Claw
-Dragon Rage

Venomoth
-Psychic
-Giga Drain
-Silver Wind
-Psybeam

Any quick fixes? I could also use some held items.

IDK, it's just an idea... I got the Hyper Beam idea from Lance (Kanto E4)
And yes, I DO like dragons, but part of it is I started with Charmander on LG and Charizard is awesome. I should replace Charizard's Hyper Beam with Blast Burn (Fire version of Hyper Beam).

Okay, Machamp should hold a Flame Orb, because Burn isn't as harsh. This moveset should be run with Raticate or another normal with Guts, because they also get STAB off of Facade.

Empolion should like this this:
Empolion @ Petaya Berry
EVs: 250 Special Attack/250 Speed/10 (Special) Defense
Moveset:
-Substitute
-Surf/Hydro Pump
-Ice Beam/Aqua Jet
-Agility

Basically you get a Sub up, then Agility as much as you can. When the Sub breaks get another. Rinse and repeat until the Petaya Berry and Torrent goes off, then proceed to sweep :)

@ Gengar: I would lose Dark Pulse for either Explosion or Destiny Bond, then drop Nightmare for Shadow Ball or something.

@Mewtwo: Needs a STAB move. Drop Flamethrower for either Extrasensory or Psychic. Extrasensory has the flinch chance, but does a little less damage.

Not Flamethrower. Garchomp should focus on physical moves. Either Fire Fang or Dragon Rush.

RE: In-game Team Rates

K, thanks. I've decided I might a Slaking since I have an Adamant Slaking. Either I keep him, or add someone else. My current roster:

Garchomp
-Earthquake
-Dragon Rush
-Crunch
-(Working on Fire Fang)

Metagross
-Explosion
-Meteor Mash
-Earthquake
-Bullet Punch (No idea how to get the elemental punches on it, need advice for that)

Dusknoir
-Dark Pulse
-Shadow Ball
-Calm Mind
-Pain Split

Blaziken
-Bulk Up
-Sky Uppercut
-Overheat
-Stone Edge

I have a nidoqueen that has pulled through for me a lot, so I might add it.

Nidoqueen
-Shock Wave
-Superpower
-Sludge Bomb
-Surf

Lucario
-Auro Sphere
-Close Combat
-ExtremeSpeed
-Dragon Pulse

Nidoqueen might be replaced with Slaking, depending on the advice I get. Please rate, add suggestions, and perhaps suggest some EV's.
