Rules?
Sure, we can have rules here.
Only list pokémon obtainable in-game.
I will not be using trades, so no trade-evolution pokémon.
I don't have to use my starter, if it's not included in my choices.
(I will, however, have to use it until I come across one of my pokémon.)
Nickname everything. I will not use vulgar language in my nicknames.
Only 1-3 suggestions each please. If you suggest an unobtainable pokemon without knowledge, you can suggest again if you so wish.
Keep in mind that variety is nice. Try to suggest pokemon of different types!

Snorlax... That's a good idea. I'll have to try my luck with Honey Trees though.

Welcome aboard the bandwagon, Keeper! My suggestions for your run:

-Miles the Buizel.
Aren't I good with nicknames? The Buizel line reminds me of Tails from Sonic, thus the name. Also, I'm pretty sure Buizel is one of the fastest Pokémon of Gen IV.

Anyway, I can't do trades, so Electrivire is not possible ATM.
I was hoping somebody would suggest Gliscor! Love that thing.
Drapion is a good choice as well.

I've actually never used a Houndoom in a run through before, so that's definately a possibility.
Garchomp... I've never used one either. For nuzlocke runs, they always die before evolving. :p
Gallade is fun, but I used it in my last Platinum run through. Still an awesome choice though.

Utena the Roserade: Roserade is one of my favourite Sinnoh Pokémon, and brings a strong Grass-type to your team (it's Poison-typing doubles up with Drapion if you decide to choose both of them, but who cares, everyone loves Poison types <3 <3 <3). You get Budews nice and early on, and it's not hard to pick up a Shiny Stone either. Breaking from my usual tradition of mythological names, Utena comes from the manga/anime series Revolutionary Girl Utena, which features roses heavily. Also, even though Utena is a girl, the name would still be fitting for a male Roserade because Utena never gave a crap about gender roles.

Tenjin the Rotom: With his Electric/Ghost typing, Rotom is very unique and a lot of fun to play with, and also fills a couple holes in your typing. I've enjoyed using him in my 4th gen playthroughs in the past, and seeing him again in the Prof. Oak segments of the XY anime has made me fond of him all over again. Comes in the game decently early in the Old Chateau, and is just a general cool guy. While there are a multitude of Thunder Gods, the names I chose for Rotom is actually a Japanese Kami (spirit of the Shinto religion). This particular Kami also has a link to Raijin, a Japanese thunder god, and so this name acknowledges both his Electric and Ghost typings. :D

Skadi the Froslass: Froslass is just a cool Pokémon that I've always wanted to use on a playthrough but never have. :< Ice/Ghost is a pretty neat typing (the Ghost would double up with Rotom if you choose both, but, like Poison, no one cares because everyone loves Ghost types). She's pretty damn fast and gets some cool moves. You also need a Dawn Stone to evolve Gallade, but you find multiple throughout the game (I checked!), so you could still use both. The name is the Norse Goddess of winter, mountains, and skiing. I guess it's actually Skaði with the goofy Eth (that's what you call that ð symbol), though the Eth is typically transliterated to a "d" when the names are converted to standard English, or other languages that don't use that symbol.

Roserade suffers from the same case that Garchomp does. I only ever seem to use it on nuzlocke runs, and they always die before evolving. Glad I'm not doing that this time. :p
Rotom is another good choice. Noted.
Frosslass I have never used before. Glalie either for that matter. Definately an option.

Crobat named swift wing (if Jolteon can't be obtained)

Togepi is obtained as a gift, so Togekiss is perfectly reasonable. ;)
I believe Eevee is a gift as well, so I will put both down as options.
Though I might name the Jolteon something else if I decide to use both it and Houndoom.

At this point, it seems I won't be using my starter.
