Of course I ignored him for a while. Finally I didn't have to rush to write chapters, so I took the time to look around. First, since key members of my tea were out of commission, I had to heal. Afterwards, I found the locked hotel. Harbor Inn? Oh well, obviously I can't get into it, but it's neat to look at anyway.
I also found an Ace Trainer in town, saying she had taken a liking to the studies of time and space. You didn't know that.
But, even when I try, there is no way to avoid the storyline that must happen.

Too big of a cave for my liking tbh. And I was a bit annoyed at the double battles, but at least my pokémon could be healed afterwards (I also knew how to activate a couple of the battles as single, so they went by fast with OHKOs from my entire team but Stalker, who was holding the Exp Share anyway). The whole place pretty much went by with: Close Combat this, Surf that, Mud Bomb the other guy, Earthquake is cool, Rock Tomb never seems to hit, Mega Drain for Ubers, ect. I was very glad that Sturdy hadn't received its buff yet. I found a Dusk Ball at one point, which I fully plan on catching my final member with.

<WanderingWolf> Um, well. It is sorta wolfy anyway.

Close Combat to OHKO Glameow, Lucario used Force Palm to do... Almost nothing to Zubat. Zui was then hit by a weak Wing Attack.

Lucario actually almost KO'd Zubat with Quick Attack. I used Rock Tomb anyway on it to KO it. Croagunk did... Something to Zui Quan while I wasn't paying attention. Only brought me to yellow though.

Managed to KO Croagunk with Flame Wheel, but Golbat KO'd Zui Quan with Air Cutter afterwards.

Revive Zui! Get Exp! After that... Surf the bats? Lucario's Metal Claw was helpful, but still left Golbat standing after two turns. Surf barely left Stunky alive, but did KO Golbat.

As I switched, Lucaio KO'd Stunky. Ty Wander. And then... Well, Houndour KO'd Lucario. What goes around, I guess.

It took forever, but Zui Quan learned Slack Off and evolved! So so so happy.
Drohn took me back to Canalave City, muttering the whole way about me being scum. Well, it seems the werewolf aspect of this is more pronounced as of late, and I have no idea what to do about it. I guess just let them think what they want, the run will eventually end anyway.
Made it back to Canalave, gave Drohn back his wallet, and took off for the library.
Actually, lol I lied. I flew directly from Iron Island to Solaceon Town, where I was looking for Heart Scales. The newspaper was hiring, so I checked it out.

Back in Pastoria, I could finally fully explore Route 213, where I found a few more Heart Scales and a couple Pearls. In Pastoria, the move reminder gave Utena access to Leech Seed, and taught Stalker Thunder Fang. Now, it seemed, we were ready to meet up with Gistica at the Canalave Library.
Once we flew back, he was still blocking the entrance. Took him long enough to realize I had HM Strength now, and he took me upstairs where Camoclone and PMJ were waiting.

<Keeper> Sorry, but SOMEBODY *coughGisticacough* wouldn't let me in right away.

So I flew to back to Pastoria,
AGAIN. Past Route 213, and up towards Valor Lakefront. However, on the way, I did manage to find the Suite Key, and gave it to the guest who had lost it. She gave me the White Flute in return, so I got that going for me, which is nice.

Once at the lake, I saw there was a very distinct lack of water in it. And there were a ton of Magikarp just flopping around. Making my way around them, I beat the grunts who were... Standing around doing nothing? Whatever.
After going back once to heal, I found a cave in the center of the now water-less lake and went inside.
<???> The mission is going nicely! The boss will be proud.
<???> Everything is for everyone, and for the god of Team Galactic!
<Keeper> What are you doing in here?
<???> ...?
<???> Wait, I recognize your face!

<Celever> You're the guy who raided the Team Galactic building in Eterna City!
<Celever> Astra should be ashamed of himself, being beaten by a child.

<Celever> Anything and anyone who opposes Team Galactic will be crushed!

Thunder Fang for half damage, Wing Attack for much less. 2HKO right off the bat.
<Stalker> It's like they're not even trying.
<Keeper> It's your new form, they can't handle it.
<Keeper> But take a break real fast.

Poison Jab poisoned, but Earthquake was an OHKO right afterwards.

Levitate? Dunno.
...Yup. Gyro Ball was a crit and poison brought Mega down to 6 HP. Wasn't worth staying in.

Shadow Ball hit on the switch, but we retaliated with Flame Wheel for the OHKO.
<Keeper> Sad.
<Celever> I only managed to buy us time? Me? A commander?
<Keeper> Seems so.
<Celever> Doesn't matter though, we will get the legendary pokémon from the lakes!
<Celever> With their power, we will create a new universe!
<Keeper> That's nice, dream big.
<Keeper> Makes it that much more satisfying when I crush it.
<Celever> Ha, you say that now. LuckyFire should have by now captured the pokémon of Lake Verity...
