I feel like I should warn people that this chapter is short and mostly filler because I didn't have a lot of free time this week. Oh well, the next chapter will be longer for sure.

Keeper's PokéBeach Platinum Run
Apparently, I need the Explorer Kit before I can move on. Ok, got it.
I knew that the Mount Coronet entrance was blocked from this side... So I didn't even got that way. Who needs random items?

The underside of the route is much more fun, with caves made for exploring! Unfortunately, I didn't have Flash, so I couldn't go through the main part of Wayward Cave. However, the hidden entrance is not so dark inside.
...OK, so it wasn't so fun. By the time I reached the cave, I realized I had no pokeballs. Oops.
Welcome to the team, Megalodon the Gible!Now all I need is Lax Incense.
I went in and grabbed the items too, but there was nothing of immense value (Besides TM Earthquake). Then I healed my team in Oreburgh before heading towards Mt. Coronet.
I was sure this is where Dawn/Lucas gave me the VS. Seeker... Is that only in DP? Or later in the game? Meh. Anyway, I was just in front of the entrance when PMJ came running up.
Mis-predicting when plot happens? 2/2
I wish more members were online at a time. Would be easier to tell who the scum were. What am I even saying?
After fighting a Bronzor, Nosepass, and a few Geodude, I reached the exit.
It's nothing special, with the first hiker you fight being some hobo looking for food. But it wasn't all bad, with a free Great Ball and Ether not too far out of the way. Big place too. Too bad I need Waterfall and Surf for parts of it.
I was getting close to Hearthome... But I think I'll put all of those events in their own chapter. Yes, this chapter was filler. Yay!

This was a top priority for me when I got home this week. But then I lost my computer cord, and then my internet went out, and then I couldn't find my game and... ugh.
(It was in this instant that I relearned I am not playing FE:A. There is no fast forward, and there is no skip. -_-)
I took the opportunity to heal at the nearest Pokémon Center. No one had fainted on the way, but Megalodon and Slugger were both on their last limb. I decided to prolong the inevitable (because I can) and went up toward Amity Square. Me and Zui Quan had a field day, grabbing TM Attract, TM Secret Power, and a Big Scale before growing bored.
...The right side of Amity Square supplied me with an Amulet Coin, Spooky Plate, and some berry from the worker there (Nommel?). I also learned that Zui Quan has an interesting ability that lets him sniff the grass when on a rocky cliff. Awesome.
My next stop was the Gym.
But, I vaguely remember promising sillykyle I'd meet him here. Guess I'd better look around for him. My exploits found myself and Utena in a dark enclosed area.
I didn't see any way out of this, so we played along. I must say, Utena looked pretty good afterwards. We rocked the dance portion of the competition. Utena had perfect rhythm. Didn't do so well during the performance part, as Utena only knew two Beauty moves, and we predicted judges wrong.
Anyway, we did finish. Last, but we did finish. SK had disappeared after the completion, but meh. I saw him, didn't I? Promise kept.
At the gym:
I never was very good at getting around this gym. At least, not without being spotted. Fortunately, Slugger could Water Pulse everything into oblivion (except for Stockpiling Drifloons *shudder*).
Fletch really didn't think things through very well here, and probably should have added a third or even fourth floor as obstacles. Two isn't quite enough.

Keeper's PokéBeach Platinum Run
On the outskirts of Hearthome, I wasn't allowed out toward the Mansion yet. Dumb reporters. On the other side of town, Gistica was waiting.
So I actually found a Chansey in the grass on my first encounter. Didn't need to catch it though, so Slugger destroyed it for the exp. In fact, Slugger was my MVP all the way up to Solaceon Town. With Megalodon being the runner up in double battles.
After a quick heal at the Solaceon Pokemon Center, I was ready to tackle the Lost Tower!
Slugger was so close to evolving I could taste it, so I put him up in front for just a little while longer (Megalodon was equipped with the Exp. Share for now, Zui Quan is next).
Inside, I fought through floor after floor of moaning and wailing visitors. ...Actually, most of them were insane and thought I was a ghost. That's much better.
Floor two was home to a youngster who liked to spam Protect with his Mothim. After a third Protect in a row, I was ready to murder. And the item he was guarding was... an Oval Stone. I tossed it out of spite.
I need to stop nuzlocking Gens 1 and 2, I'm not used to Levitating Gastly. Fortunately, most would Curse on turn one, giving Slugger a guaranteed KO with Water Pulse. Doubles battles were a tad bit annoying, as the ever-present fog made accuracy a pain for me, but never seemed to bother the opposition.
I got ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP. Just to find out you need Defog befor ethe old ladies will talk to you.
But, at least outside of the Lost Tower I found TM Steel Wing, Calcium, and Stardust.
I guess I should go get Defog now... Yeah, that sounds like a plan. Though I absolutely hate those ruins.
We all know about the Solaceon Ruins, yes? Well, fortunately I read Unown.I BET NOBODY ELSE CAN.

I did make it the bottom room eventually. Grabbed myself a Nugget, HM Defog, Mind Plate, and an Odd Incense.

Finally, with Defog in bag, I could climb up Lost Tower.
...As soon as I had a pokémon that could use the move.
After catching a Staravia, I withdrew it from the PC and climbed back up Lost Tower. The ladies at the top gave me a Cleanse Tag and the Spell Tag. Not bad, honestly.

Growl to lower attack, Sandstorm to raise Evasion. Bubblebeam still hit though, and brought 'Don down to red. Unfortunately, he was KO'd by the following attack. No hax for me that go round.

Mach Punch. KO.

Rock Tomb brings it to red, and it proceeds to set up Double Team. Mach Punch hits and is a KO. Switching to Slugger for the final poke.

So I actually found a Chansey in the grass on my first encounter. Didn't need to catch it though, so Slugger destroyed it for the exp. In fact, Slugger was my MVP all the way up to Solaceon Town. With Megalodon being the runner up in double battles.

After a quick heal at the Solaceon Pokemon Center, I was ready to tackle the Lost Tower!
Slugger was so close to evolving I could taste it, so I put him up in front for just a little while longer (Megalodon was equipped with the Exp. Share for now, Zui Quan is next).
Inside, I fought through floor after floor of moaning and wailing visitors. ...Actually, most of them were insane and thought I was a ghost. That's much better.
Floor two was home to a youngster who liked to spam Protect with his Mothim. After a third Protect in a row, I was ready to murder. And the item he was guarding was... an Oval Stone. I tossed it out of spite.
I need to stop nuzlocking Gens 1 and 2, I'm not used to Levitating Gastly. Fortunately, most would Curse on turn one, giving Slugger a guaranteed KO with Water Pulse. Doubles battles were a tad bit annoying, as the ever-present fog made accuracy a pain for me, but never seemed to bother the opposition.
I got ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP. Just to find out you need Defog befor ethe old ladies will talk to you.

I was convinced that this couldn't get any worse...But, at least outside of the Lost Tower I found TM Steel Wing, Calcium, and Stardust.
I guess I should go get Defog now... Yeah, that sounds like a plan. Though I absolutely hate those ruins.

I did make it the bottom room eventually. Grabbed myself a Nugget, HM Defog, Mind Plate, and an Odd Incense.

Finally, with Defog in bag, I could climb up Lost Tower.
...As soon as I had a pokémon that could use the move.
After catching a Staravia, I withdrew it from the PC and climbed back up Lost Tower. The ladies at the top gave me a Cleanse Tag and the Spell Tag. Not bad, honestly.
<OldLady> Oh, the fog is gone! Here's for your help.
*Keeper got a Spell Tag
<OldLady> That Fletchling... It's hard to tell what he's thinking.
<OldLady> But he has a passionate heart. You know, he's a regular visitor.
