We aren't doing dialogue or an actual game, just the region map, maybe a few sprites, the pokemon designs.

We could actually program a game. Nothing really stopping one of us from paying 30 bucks for RPG Maker and just making it really simply on there. Although, I think it would make the game ever so slightly different. Just a bit. Not a lot. Tiny bit. Okay, completely different

AdvancedMap pls
You'd have to learn how to use it, but VX Ace Lite is free. Although you couldn't make a Pokémon game, you could get the hang of things.

I'd prefer to use things like AdvanceMap, etc. if we were to make a game, even if it's Gen 3 mechanics, it'd be far easier than RPGMaker.

We gotta do some sort of a game out of this with AdvanceMap & and stuff. Too bad I can't use any of them due to using a Mac and Wine not working properly.

I'll make QTs for everyone, and PM it to each person of each team with the right QT.
We need to settle, down, and I think we can agree that Time Travel WILL be the theme for our game, or at least something time related (future, ruins etc). There is always the possibility of incorporating some kind of other theme in a tiny aspect, but for now time?
PL, should we start on either the region map/s (?), or maybe start creating some Pokemon after officially deciding on the theme?
EDIT:Reggie left Pokebeach for a few months, so you may want to get rid of him off the signups. He is coming back who knows when within the next 6 months, so our project may be still ongoing even after he comes back, so there is always return.

I don't think region maps will be necessary; if someone thinks of a good location it can be in relation to a pokemon's design, so there's no need for a map.
Now; the part you've all been waiting for. Making the damn pokemon.
What this list means is that three teams will make one starter each, and two teams will make the legendaries.
- I'd prefer if the teams making the legendaries work together for now, and split later when the legends are finished (also, one of them has only two people, and they have a very demanding task ahead, in addition to both legendaries's design being connected)
- For which team does what starter we'll have our first voting. All starter teams will do three concepts; one for each type, and in three days, they'll present them with any preference they might have. The legendary teams will then choose one of each type for each team considering the design itself and any preference the team has over any particular design.
