You can do it if you want, but have in mind that all water starters walk on ground; a fish for a novice trainer would be somewhat difficult to justify.

There'll be plenty of other pokemon.

I think the concept of all the starter teams doing all the starters would be best. This way I can be the judge of my favorite type! This way we voters at least have some variety to choose from. I mean, if there's only going to be one of each type from the teams, we may get stuck with some random animal/object/whatever as a Pokemon.

Isn't it nice when everyone agrees?

Remember to respect GF's patterns so far for starters.
If the entire team wants a specific type, you can work more in that type, giving it a better chance to be the one chosen for you.

You mean fire/fighting bipedal, at least one rounded derpy starter, and the underrated one?

Although, Chespin, Oshawott, Turtwig and Chikorita fit two of those... hm...

I don't think that's a pattern with starters.

Inb4 all the fire starters are Fire/Fighting.
