No multiball?

I was designing a spinoff game which basically has five teams pitted against each other. I still have the data but it'll be a while before it's ready.

No, but thanks for asking.

I would like to create Open or Semi-Open (Greatest Idea is Semi-Open. MSWiki it if you don't know what these terms mean) that would be used for some spinoffs or the such.

Open setups are something I have wanted to try but due to the nature of pb games it has never been feasible. it would be better suited as a spinoff.

I've also been thinking of doing a multiball as a spinoff for another one i'm working on, but I might bring it here so chill and I can work on it for pb instead.

I don't think so either, but if it's 5 players I see no reason why we can't give it a try. Does it start with night zero?

Yup, it starts with Night 0, so each inspector can work from there.

The problem with that game is that it would be too short for the scum to get lynched. It should have 2 or 4 VTs to balance it.

It's supposed to be a short game.

Nah, the scum gets lynched not via randvoting, but via logical thinking. You can look at the results and see from there who's lying, telling the truth. Once you find out one of the players' roles, it all fits in nicely from there. Honestly, the only problem with the game I can see is that it may be too heavily biased towards the village.

It is heavily biased towards the village. It helps the scum that roles aren't revealed on death, but it's still biased towards town.

Only one way to find out!

We were, and still have been, running games that have a night zero start on Psypokes for god knows how long. It works.

It levels out the playing field, and eliminates the no lynch vote.
You have previous knowledge of a kill, rather than just small talk on D1.

What do you mean by "eliminates the NL vote"?

People usually 'No Lynch' because they have no information...

With N0, a kill is made, information is given, townies and indies get to use roles and everyone who isn't a VT has even the slightest of info not to No Lynch.

So I found a cop5 script that works, so if you got four friends and wanna play some cop5 head on over to the chat room and then hop in #cop5, signups will idle for as long as it takes to get 5 players or until whenever I leave. I think.

After cop5, I'd like to try a game called "Everyone is Mafia Mafia" where everyone is a mafia goon of their own faction (basically, everyone is a serial killer) and the goal is to be the last man standing. There's no Day phases either.

Takes like 20-25 people (probably will do less for the first game) and outside conversations is allowed (so you can make like alliances and what not). I've seen variations where people have a one-shot bulletproof vest or it goes into role madness or even both, but it'd probably start simple for the first game.

(Reminder: There are no kills on N0's...)

Then wouldn't VTs be like "hurr durr no info VOTE: No Lynch" and then be like "I didn't have information because I'm VT now I'm cleared WOOP WOOP" which is very scummy and gets VTs lynched?

It's not like the PRs are going to reveal on D1 and possibly get 1 scum lynched.

On N0, none of the PRs can have any idea on who to target with their roles.
