I'm online as well and scrubbing really hard haha.
 
So the time on Thursday would be 3 PM PST-wise, correct? If so, that sounds good, since I get out an hour early on Thursdays.
 
Most of the time I'm online, one or two of the people I fighting can reset themselves after they fall off of an edge. They'll fall over the edge and just re-appear without losing any speed. How do they do that?!?!?!
 
Check Gamefaqs for more details, but they're timing a rocket boost. When Lakitu drops you, flooring it at the just the right moment when you hit the ground starts you off running. It's a bit hard to time. Took me about 20 minutes of practicing on DK Pass to get it right.
 
Actually, online it seems even worse than that. They opponent falls off, and literally appears on the course again in a split second. How does Lakitu place them that fast??? Whenever I fall or even other players fall, you actually see Lakitu place them back on the course, regardless of boost or not. I've also noticed other really weird things online, like a kart just spazzing out in circles for no apparent reason...

Yeah, that's what I meant. They fall off and a split second later they're back on the track with no speed lost. I've also seen a kart randomly telaport ahead. Is there a 3DS AR out now, or what? I know on Mario Kart DS I couldn't even play online because people hacked their games so much.
 
I think it's lag. I've seen people jumping all over the place before, and yes, even off ledges, but I do not think they actually are.
 
I don't think so. I knocked some guy off myself and watched him fall, and then he appeared right in front of me without Lakuta and without losing any speed. I'm pretty sure that wasn't lag.
 
He may not have been there for you to knock off in the first place, and your client thought he was.

I just don't think there is hacking software out there without anyone knowing it.
 
So, uh... This is awkward, I forgot about the tourney. Did that even happen?
 
I regret to say that I've made the same mistake. But at least I've finally three-starred Special Cup Mirror.

No, I haven't gone online, and that's because I'm trying to get ***-rank before I do. Soon as I get 150cc Special Cup done I will have **, then just gotta clean up Mirror and 150 and woop woop.

But I haven't played any of _you_ because no one has posted in this thread for ages.
