This episode was very important for Pinkie's character development. She's so upbeat and outgoing and friendly that she is naturally friends with everyone. When she runs into someone who--perish the thought--rejects her friendship, she is stunned and extremely worried about it.

I think she lucked out with how fast Cranky forgave her, personally, but as far as the lesson goes, it was an important one for her that she needed to learn.

the whole point of the episode is that some people want to be left alone. it's not that they're not your friends, it's that they're just not a people person.

didn't you listen to her letter to the princess?

Ah, I tried to watch the new episode today, I got about ten minutes in after an hour of waiting and gave up; man my internet is slow. It looks pretty great so far, but it is a really weird episode. I liked the felt animation going on in Pinkie's head, reminds me of myself.

Also, my friends and I made a pony cake a while ago. Pretty fun, despite the fact we only had food coloring, a tub of frosting and that sorta "just add water" kind of cake mix. No fancy tools.

This is why I just wait for it to download before I try watching it. If I'm at home, sometimes it can take somewhere in the vicinity of two hours to download an episode because my internet is jank (read as: I steal it from my neighbor).

Still, it's worth the wait for some crisp, clean, uninterrupted 1080p pony. <3

Finally got around to watching the new episode.

  • Is it just me, or were there a lot of new extras? I love extras, they are my bros.
  • Best song in the season.
  • Pinkie Pie inspires me to make a chart of all of the pony's birthdays.
  • Very good episode overall.

Great work on the cards as always, my favorite is the Daring Do card. I also like the first "Dragon-type" card you made, with Spike's Greed forme in it's final stage.

The cards are amazing as always, just kinda wished you'd have a tiny bit more creativity on the Trainers (in the current set.)
"Tank" is Goop-Gas Attack (Team Rocket)
"Double Hide" is Seeker
"Ghastly Gorge" is Holon Circle (from ex Crystal Guardians)
The other trainers in past sets were really interesting, so why did you not continue with that trend? (I loved Twilight's Scheme)

I needed to add additional safeguards against Prince Blueblood. People were using him with Fluttershy? (the tree) to make a combo that was extremely hard to break. Tank and Double Hide are those safeguards. Ghastly Gorge is just me trolling, really, although it is ironic because Blueblood decks could make pretty good use of it as a way to circumvent Tank.

Believe me, I'm all for unique, wacky trainers. There will be more in set six for sure. :>

the Fluttershy? + Blueblood combo is monstrous.

I like how much effort you put into these; you really try to make them both competitively viable and balanced. I'm trying to design a pony Duel Masters set; I can only hope they're half as good as your fake cards.

She's a Princess and that's it. Rumor has it, they stuck with "Princess" because Disney was said to have "ruined the word 'queen' forever" or something like that.

That's what I thought. It's probably true the demographic target would prefer a princess over a queen.
