Ohai guys, long time no see Materious has come back.

I'm going to apologize in advance however for what I'm going to do.

I'm a long time reader, first time writer of pony fanfic and while my friends and a few commentators have given me solid praise, I'm afraid the story is going to die incredibly fast because of my really poor choice in cover photo.

I wouldn't be here just to plug my own work if I didn't feel like people weren't giving my story an honest chance because of the image I posted. My writing might be good or not, but my artistic capabilities are incredibly subpar and could use a replacement photo asap. Would prefer something with my OC, Boulder, in the Ghastly Gorge but I'm going to leave that up to whoever is willing to help out.

Oh, but while I'm here, I came out immediately to my friends and family the moment I became a brony. I live a life of NOSHAME, also my friends all became bronies at the same time I did so it was kinda easy to come out.

Regardless, have any thoughts on this? I think this game will definitely be more popular. Also, I think it'll be hilarious when people will play this song with no realization that they're playing a song about MLP:FiM.

It's pretty cool, but I hope this addition of vocals isn't becoming a trend.

I guess as long as he supplies instrumental versions alongside the lyric versions, then cool.

The Ponyfied hack of Leaf Green and Fire Red sounds very interesting. I'd like to hear more about it, but I'm going to hold off on trying to play the download until they get farther. (As Mt. Moon isn't very far at all.)
 
is anyone going to try to collect a full set of the trading cards? because I love collecting cards, and also buying booster packs of cards.

I had no idea that the cards were official until earlier today (they are right?)... I might buy a couple packs, but I probably shouldn't get too addicted to them for my own good. Pokémon is already pricey enough. There is probably a large amount of money to be made off of the rarer cards. The demand for pony merchandise over the internet is ridiculous.

This Day Aria just squeaked out an extremely narrow victory over the Smile song, yay. I still don't see why people like the Smile song so much. It's an over-rated song from a lackluster episode.

I like it because it's catchy and always cheers me up when I'm feeling down. It's also one of the longest songs in the series - never a bad thing

You don't judge songs from the context of the episode itself; that's a ridiculously biased way of judging songs. Also, This Day Aria should be considered the over-rated one. I'd listen to the Smile song in rain or shine because it works both ways.
 
I love dramatic stuff so I quite enjoyed Aria

Most interesting antagonist is Discord. Luna's character was only developed after she turned to the good side so I'm reluctant to rank her higher than Discord. Crys freaks me out because LEG HOLES but was still a pretty decent villian who should return.

About the song, opinions are opinions. Your opinions can't sway mine, and I know mine can't sway anyone else's.

For the sake of the plot, Discord was the best villain, as he took everything the Mane 6 had and forced them to pretty much go from the very beginning, and relearn what was really special about each ponies' Element.
