RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Indiana moves on to face Miami.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Semi-Finals Predictions:

Spurs vs Grizzlies - Spurs in 7

Heat vs - Pacers - Heat in 6

dmaster out.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Grizzlies in 7, Heat in 6.

Although it would make for an interesting Finals to see the two best defensive teams face each other.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

I'm supporting Memphis to win it all; but in honesty, I don't really care what happens as long as the heat lose.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

The Spurs clocked Memphis in Game 1, and experts are saying the Series will "begin in Game 2".

Well the Grizzlies lost game 1 in both series againest LA and OKC, and then won the next 4 games.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Well in the midst of all this playoff action, the Bobcats are expected to change their name back to the hornets for the 2014-2015 season. Opinions?

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

I still have my old Hornets gear, but none of that fits anymore haha. I'll probably go to a few home games depending on how the offseason and draft go.

Clippers fire VDN. Finally.

I had a feeling this would end up happening. Pretty much a few days after the New Orleans name change was official, I knew eventually Charlotte would request the "Hornets" moniker back.

I do believe the Wizards will eventually change their name back to the Bullets as well with their "modern" look on the classic Bullets uniforms currently in use.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

I don't think the Wizards will change back to the Bullets after the Arenas incident.

Well, they changed it to the Wizards due to the extremely high shooting rates in the nation's capital.

Most think a name change could be in the orders with the alternate logo with the 'D' in DC with a hand outstretched sort of like pair of hands making up the "L" in Bullets.

Cleveland

Orlando

Washington

Draft Lottery

The Washington Wizards should rename themselves as the bullets again because seeing their W-L record every year would make you want to shoot yourself

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Bobcats suck at the lottery and Cleveland snatches first pick.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Over/Under how many years Kyrie Irving and Ben McLemore (who I think Cleveland will take #1 overall, as he w/could start Day 1, instead of Nerlens Noel waiting until Christmas to platy) will be teammates?

I'd say under 5 years Irving will pull a Lebron and bolt to Miami, or any other team that'll be in contention (unless Lebron comes back to Cleveland in 2014 which prolly won't happen, but who knows?)

Aww I love the Bobcats color scheme (then again I got an old Mugsy Bouges Hornets jersey)

Even with a name change they'll stay in basement of the Eastern Conf. for years to come, they are the NBA's version of the Texans/Raiders. (yes I'm using 2 NFL teams as an example)
