out of these I really like steel/ice, cool possibilities with that one.

Not much worse than Steel/Rock, which evidently GF thinks is an AWESOME defensive typing considering Bastiodon, Probopass, and (to a lesser extent) Aggron have godly defensive stats.
 
I love the Ice Type. Unfortunately, it is a crappy defensive typing, so no matter what you pair it with it will always be a hindrance to the other type (why something wasn't done to make it good against Water in some way still confuses me).
 
to keep this reasonably short:

water/ghost
fire/ghost
fighting/dragon (hooray for unresisted coverage with stabs only...?)
normal/ghost
ice/electric
steel/ghost
fighting/flying

would all be types i'd like to see. ^^; though i'm perfectly content with any generally cool existing type combos (electric/flying comes to mind!!), i'd really like some unique typings. i'm probably forgetting an existing pokemon that has one of the aforementioned type combos, however. please forgive me if i am!
 
Psychic/Dark would only have a 4x Bug weakness and a Psychic immunity.

Dark/Fighting doesn't make a contradiction to me because fighting has never implied "honor". Take Primeape, Heracross, and Toxicroak, for example. Primeape is simply ape-$#!+ crazy, Heracross is a giant beetle, and Toxicroak looks like it would use dirty tactics (sucker punch).
Dark/Fighting = dirty fighter. You've heard of dirty fighting before.
 
Okay first off, i saw Water/Steel and Flying/dark quite a few times, Empoleon and the Murkrow line are crying! :O

Second:
Fire/water (steam engine poke ftw!!! :)
Fire/bug (fire ant, lots of fanart Shoild really show gf something)
We need alot more dark and fire types!!! And steel!
 
We need a few more normal types OTHER than the regional rodents and the birds. I thought Zangoose and Tauros were pretty cool as late Normal types.
 
Ok,since there are already 2 Psychic/Dragons,how about:
Fire/Grass
Grass/Ghost (Jack-O-Lantern FTW!)
Ghost/Fire
Ice/Electric
Fire/Ice or Water
Poison/Dragon
Ice/Fighting
Flying/Fighting
And a pure Flying Type. :p
