70 new pokemon makes zero sense to me. We already have 39 officially revealed (40 if you include Orrotto) plus 4 more seemingly legitimate leaked pokemon. We also know there are at least two more (Braixen and Quilladin evos) and more than likely a Z legendary Pokemon. That's 47 right there. Add the usual legendary trio and we have 50. We have Clauncher, Skrelp, Helioptile, Bunnelby, Swirlix, Spritzee all of whom fit the profile of evolving pokemon. Even if they all just evolve once that brings us to 56. Leaving a mere 14 pokemon left who haven't a thingto do with what we know as of this moment. And that's assuming Flabebe, Noivern and such aren't part of evolutionary families and that there is no Pokemon between Talonflame and Fletchling as most people feel there will be. That just seems like way too few. If it turns out to be true I for one will be greatly disappointed as I always make it a rule to not use old Pokemon on my team each new generation.

I know Mega Pokemon will beef up the "new" Pokemon tally but that feels almost like a cheat.

It's been posted before, and correct me, it's already proven fake before, i dont remember too much though.

I personally just don't click with the name Kyubixen, it's basically derived from two same thing, a fox. :/

EDIT: There, that Fletchinder proves the fakeness of the ShreddingMan person.

Poison seems more likely. Giving more relvenace and power to the poison type is EXACTLY what Nintendo needs to do and that is exactly what they would be doing if they made a poison eeveelution. They introduce a new type that's super great and fabulous against the most powerful type of pokemon in the game. Now they need something to counter that and what better way than to give one of the underrated types and advantage over it and what better way to show this than to make more poison moves, better poison pokemon and an eevee counterpart to encourage more balanced gameplay.

It makes sense really... That is IF there's a new eeveelution.

I never really realized how unappreciated poison types are. There are a few I like and even fewer I use, nor do I really see people using them. If they do introduce a new eeveelution, I do hope that it would go to a deserving type to help both balance and help make a 'lesser' type be a bit more usable. :p Dragons for basically forever have made things unbalanced, considering their weaknesses are ice, and themselves. On the flip side there are 20 ice type moves, 4 being status moves and 1 being known only by a legendary. Though that leaves a group of 15 moves which is a small selection compared to how many moves other types have.

Do you mean he picture abouve you? It's not the Kyubey, the one with the contracts...it's supposed to be Kyuubimon, from Digimon. :p

Another leaker on 4chan with an early copy of the game. They haven't shown anything else new Pokemon wise except for that image but they have shown new screens.

Edit: They showed the tm screen with two tms; False Swipe and Infestation, they haven't confirmed if TMS are still no longer one time use.
Edit2: Just confirmed that TMs are still no longer one time use; thank goodness.

Chespin is not there, does that mean the player only fights one rival? serena/callum, I pressume. But then who gets the third starter, if you don't fight against it?

He stated that Talonflame evolved, and it now being a stage 2 pokemon, it cannot evolve.

I realized that our supposed rival doesn't pick the starter who is strong against our starter (usually it is right?).

Kosthedin picks Chespin and his rival picks Froakie.

This new guy picks Froakie and his rival picks Fennekin.

Maybe there's a truth in there are 2 rivals?

Oh, thanks =) Possible he misstated but I doubt it. Sad though, I liked some of the ideas presented in his rumors. Wonder where the pictures are from then.

Actually, the possibility of Fletchinder being real is quite plausible. Consider how there is a pokemon in between it and Scatterbug.

That's pretty awesome. I actually shot you a PM about this a short while ago, if you'd care to check and respond (never used the PM system so I'm not sure I sent it right).

I'm glad we still get False Swipe. And since we can get experience from catching Pokemon, that means no more pesky decisions. <3 EDIT: What do you guys think the final number of TMs will be? We know there's at least 83 (Infestation), but with a new type arriving I'm personally expecting at least another five or so.

I have the feeling she could be an enemy spy, or an inside person. Don't really have any reasoning to it though. :p

So, uhm. I downloaded the aforementioned pictures and tried to flip them around, but everywhere I upload them they just flip back to upside down and backwards. :/ What the Shellos?

Regardless, I hope this means tomorrow we're going to get to see both Frogadier and Quilladin's evolutions~

From my cursory examination it does appear to match those posted by kosthedin, although obviously everybody should take a look for themselves. I think seeing Fletchinder in two very different poses helps me believe it's real. :)

It has a decent Sp. Attack as well, but is quite slow.

The picture also confirms Dunsparce, Ledyba, Skitty, Doduo, Smeargle, and Croagunk(?), and probably some others as well, but the image is too blurry, can't spot any other unconfirmed Pokémon.

edit: Is that Gulpin right next to Spewpa?

Yup, I am almost 100% certain that is Gulpin! Can anyone tell what is in first column, second row and first column, fourth row? Also, I wonder if the numbers start over for each Regional Dex? Like, for Coastal/Central/Mountain.
