Well that was just an exaggeration by Cabernet, he was never actually evil, I'm guessing he'll be shocked, then he gets competitive, throw in his catch phrase and it will be nice to see Cilan mentioning tasting time again.

Pokemon Black and White Episode 19: Connoisseur Showdown: Ishizumai vs. Futachimaru!
Ash, Iris and Cilan are walking up a hill on a dirt road, there are a few houses and trees around them. They all notice a big building up ahead, they go to the front of it. Cilan says it’s a new and friendly shopping centre, Iris says a Grand Opening sale is going on and Ash thinks they should check it out. So they all run towards the shops entrance.
*Opening*
They walk through the automatic sliding glass doors, Ash mentions that it’s huge and Iris says that it’s overwhelming. Ash mentions to Cilan that there are a lot of Pokemon specific food and Medicine in the store and Cilan tells Ash that you can get lots of things at a Friendly Shop and that it really is a huge shopping center. Iris goes up to a stall where she sees something which she thinks is pretty, Iris is looking at some jewelry, she says that that there are lots of different accessories the sales person behind the class case says that Axew is cute and she holds out a box and she opens it showing a shinning jewel which she thinks would fit Iris’s Axew nicely. The woman says it would be nice because it’s a dragon jewel and it increases the power of Dragon type attacks. Iris says no but the woman tells Iris to look at the other things and for her to take her time. Ash sees a line of people with Pokemon, he asks what it is and Cilan tells him that it’s a Connoisseur Shop where they check the compatibility diagnoses. Ash doesn’t understand, Cilan says that they check the compatibility between the trainers and their Pokemon, so Ash asks if there are more Connoisseur’s beside him, Cilan says yes. Cilan tells Ash that there are Connoisseur ranks, when you take a Connoisseur Examination, then you could become a C-class Connoisseur, or a B, A or an S class. Cilan tells Ash that in order to perform a Compatibility Diagnoses you need to be an A class, and Cilan says that he is an A class Connoisseur. Behind a curtain, which people are lining up to get tasted, a woman is sitting in a chair and a Boy with a Minccino on his lap, is facing her on the other side of the room, the woman says that their compatibility is wonderful and she also mentions that only ripened trainer and Pokemon have that sort of mellow taste. She says that it has been proven that it is well raised, the boy leaves after saying thank you and the Connoisseur calls for the next Person to tasted. The next person tells her to bear with him and Ash is surprised that the Connoisseur is a woman (Oh Ash), Cilan says that Female Connoisseur’s are called Sommeliere’s. Cilan says that Ash should get checked because getting checked from other people every now and then is a good reassurance, Ash says he will and that he’ll check out the compatibility between himself and Sewaddle, since he just caught it. Cilan says that he’ll get some more food supplies, Ash goes to the end of the line and he says that it’s pretty long.
A voice calls out from behind another curtain, this one is blue, the voice tells Ash that she is a good Sommeliere’s as well and that Ash doesn’t stand in line. Cabernet says that anyone can also ask her about Pokemon food, battle strategies and choosing accessories. Ash says that he is journeying to become a Pokemon Master and that’s why he wants the compatibility between himself and his Pokemon, looked at. Cabernet goes up close, she says that Pikachu is rare in Unova, she smells Pikachu and she tells Ash that it has an unusual scent, Ash says there was no need to check Pikachu because their friendship is perfect. Ash asks her to check Sewaddle for him, Sewaddle comes out of it’s Pokeball, Cabernet says that she will check it’s compatibility straight away, she pulls out her Pokedex and she says “Bonjour! Tasting time, s’il-vous-plait!”. Cabernet goes around the room and Ash asks her what she thinks, she says their relationship is terrible, Cabernet says that it’s ability is swarm, but Ash would be better suited with a Sewaddle with Chlorophyll(I agree, it should of had Chlorophyll). Ash asks why, she’s about to answer, she asks why Ash is doubting a Pokemon Sommeliere’s that is certified by the Sommeliere’s association. Cabernet tells Ash that there are a lot of Bug pokemon out there and that he should get a new one, Ash says no and Sewaddle gets angry and it covers Cabernet’s face in string, using string shot. Ash returns Sewaddle into its Pokeball, Cabernet pulls the string off of her face, Cabernet says that bugs will always be bugs and that so far, none of Ash’s Pokemon are good. Cabernet says that being said, she’ll look at his other Pokemon, Ash says it’s fine, she rhetorically asks Ash if he aims to become a Pokemon master, she holds Ash’s arms hard and that Ash can’t become one if the relationships between his Pokemon aren’t checked. Ash agrees then and he tells Snivy to come out, it does and it stands on Cabernet’s chair acting smug, Cabernet says it’s spice is too spicy like a black pepper taste and it’s too strong. Snivy is annoyed, Cabernet also mentions that it’s glare is too sharp, so that’s a bad thing also, Cabernet wonders what it’s taste is, Cabernet goes in, to lick Snivy, Snivy hits her tongue with a Vine Whip attack. Cabernet also hates Snivy’s texture so she deems it no good, Ash doubts her and he returns Snivy and he sends out Tepig on Cabernet’s chair, Tepig smiles cutely at Cabernet. Cabernet deems it hopeless, Ash asks why after standing up like Cabernet is, she says that all it does is smile hopelessly, it’s naive and it wont be good in battles, she can tell without tasting and Tepig gets angry and it fires an ember attack at her head.
Oshawott comes out of it’s Pokeball, Ash is annoyed that it keeps doing it, it rubs against Cabernet’s left leg, she doesn’t understand what kind of attitude it is, to be cozying up to people and that Oshawott’s taste is spreading through the room and it reminds of her of aging men. Cabernet deems it not worthy of discussing, so Oshawott fires a water gun at her head, a bit later, it’s Scarggy’s turn, Cabernet says it reminds her of tanned leather and Scraggy is shabby. Scraggy headbutt’s her, she says the tannin of Ash’s Pokemon are so strong that it paralyzes her tongue, Ash doesn’t understand but he thinks that she praised Pikachu before, saying that it’s rare and it has an unusual taste. Cabernet tells Ash that it doesn’t mean it had a good taste and that it looks cuter than it does, on photographs that she saw, so Pikachu electrocutes her with thunderbolt. So Cabernet calls Ash’s Pokemon, all horrible, she says Ash needs to replace all of his Pokemon and Ash says that he wont do it. She asks Ash if he is okay with the way things are, she says that by the way Ash is going, beating gyms and entering into the Unova league to become a Pokemon Master, will be impossible. Ash asks why and she responds by saying she is a Pokemon Sommeliere’s, Iris and Dento open the curtain and they enter the room, with Iris saying that she now knows where she is and Cilan was worried because Ash wasn’t where he thought he would be, when he came back. Cabernet turns around after hearing Cilan’s voice, Cabernet seems to know him and Dento wonders if it’s the person she’s thinking of, so Ash wonders if he knows her. Cilan says yes, he says that she challenged the Striaton city gym, but she lost to him, Cabernet says that she has waited 100 years(Exaggerate much?) to get revenge, but she’ll get it today. Cilan doesn’t understand, Cabernet says losing to him was enough but he even criticized her Pokemon using some righteous words. He mentions that he is a Connoisseur though, and she knows, but she exaggerates the truth by picturing Cilan and Pansage being the bad guys and when she and her Oshawott lost, they were the good people, and a voicover exxagerates Cilan’s words saying “Your Pokemon must have been kept in a hugely terrible environment. Clean your face and try to win again.”
Cilan says that she is lying, Cabernet says that he said something similar and that’s why she was annoyed, she says she then decided to be a better Connoisseur, than him and she would destroy him at tasting. So she took the Connoisseur Exams and she soon became an Excellent Connoisseur by the Pokemon Connoisseur association. But when she went to the gym, Cilan wasn’t there so she yelled at his brothers to hear her out, they told her that he started traveling and that he wasn’t at the gym. She gets heartbroken, then she gets angry saying that he heard that she was coming, so he left the gym. Cilan says that he didn’t really run away and that as unfortunate as it, considering that she followed him, since she isn’t at the gym, they can’t battle for the badge. Cabernet then holds up the Trio badge, she says that she already got the badge by defeating Chili and that she now wants to beat him at becoming a great Sommeliere’s and to open up her own Sommeliere’s shop, by becoming famous. Ash asks her if where they are, is really her Connoisseur shop, Cabernet feels ashamed and Cilan asks her what Class she is and she embarrassingly answers by saying she’s the lowest class and she asks him if it bothers him. Cilan thinks it’s odd and he tells her that a C-Class is still a novice class, and that they’re only allowed to work as assistants to Connoisseurs of A-Class or higher. Ash realises what she tasted, was just lies, Cabernet says that it doesn’t matter because no matter who tasted Ash and his Pokemon, they would say the exact same thing. Cabernet tells Ash to replace all of his Pokemon, Cilan disagrees, Cabernet is shocked, Cilan says Ash and his Pokemon have a great connection. Ash and Pikachu are happy and Cilan says that Cabernet isn’t good at tasting, Cabernet asks him what he just said, Cilan says that the bond between Pokemon and Trainer is a profound matter. Cilan says that she can’t make accurate diagnosis's by relying on a manual for decisions, she says it’s no need to tell her that and she says that she wants to prove her prowess is strong than his in a battle. Cilan understands and he accepts the battle.
Outside the Shopping center they’re on a dirt ground with a grassy area surrounding the dirt patch, Cabernet says that it’ll be a two on two battle, Cilan accepts it. Ash is excite to see a Connoisseur showdown because he hasn’t seen anything like it before, Iris gets the feeling that the battle will be a pain. Cabernet sends out Dewott, Cilan notices that her Oshawott had evolved, Iris checks with Ash if Grass types are stronger against water types, Ash says yes and that he’ll definitely use Pansage. Cilan throws up one of his Pokeballs in the air and out comes Dwebble, Iris and Ash are shocked, Cabernet says, “Bonjour! Tasting time, s’il-vous-plait!”. Cabernet says that he sent out a Bug/Rock type against a water type. She wonders if his skills became rotten before the cork was pulled, Cilan says his catchphrase, “It’s Tasting Time!”, he says that she shouldn’t be sure about that, he says that he’ll do a proper host tasting of her Pokemon. Cabernet asks if she wins, that it’ll prove that her diagnoses of Ash’s Pokemon were correct, Cilan says that he wont lose, Cabernet asks if she can replace all of Ash’s Pokemon if she wins. Ash is shocked, he says that he isn’t involved, she says that Cilan said him and his Pokemon have a good relationship. But her tasting proved the exact opposite, Ash says it’s absurd and he asks Cilan if he will back Ash up, Cilan says “Very well” and Ash is shocked. Cilan accepts her offer and he swears on his title as an A-Class Connoisseur that Ash’s Pokemon will be replaced by his own fault, Ash yells to Cilan that he shouldn’t make an offer with Cabernet, without asking himself if he is okay with it. Cilan says that Ash doesn’t need to worry because there is no such thing as a wrong diagnoses on A-Class Connoisseur’s list. Ash puts on a long face as he is still worried, Iris tries to hide her worried face with a smile, while she says that Cilan’s personality changes when he says tasting time, Ash asks what will happen if Cilan loses, Iris says that it’s Cilan they are talking about and that she is sure that he has a plan.
Cabernet says the taste of her Pokemon aren’t that light and that she’ll show him the power of ripened Pokemon, she tells Dewott to use Water Gun, Cilan tells Dwebble to use Protect, the Water gun bounces of Dwebble’s blue glowing, shield around it’s body. Cabernet tells Dewott to use Fury Cutter, Cilan tells Dwebble to use Protect again, but Dewott just scratches Dwebbles shield. Iris says that Cilan’s just using protect all the time, as says that a Bug/Rock type like Dwebble doesn’t stand a chance against Dewott, a water type after all, Iris asks what Cilan is thinking. Dewott keeps using Fury Cutter, then it jumps away, closer to Cabernet, Cabernet says that using Protect is too simple, of a tactic for an A-Class, she says that for Dwebble, a connection with Dewott would be awful, she tells Dewott to finish off Dwebble with Water Pulse. Dewott grows a tiny water ball in front of it’s mouth, into a big water ball, it fires it at Dwebble and Dwebble is encased in the water as it goes back into it’s shell and the attack lifts Dwebble off the ground. The water around Dwebble explodes and Dwebble falls down, unaffected, Cabernet is surprised, so Cilan tells her that Dwebble’s ability is Sturdy. Cabernet is annoyed, Iris says that Cilan impresses as always and Dewott asks what’s wrong with Dewott, Dewott gives out fast and big breaths, Iris says that it’s tired from attacking. Cilan says that this is where Dwebble’s mellowness becomes fragrant, Cilan tells it to use Shell break, Dwebble jumps out of it’s shell it’s in the air, it’s body become white, red cracks appear on it’s body as well and a white Aura breaks off of Dwebble’s body. Cilan tells it to use X-sciccor, it does and the white Aura goes into Dwebble’s claws, its claws glow white and they grow longer. Cabernet tells Dewott to use Razor Shell, it grabs it’s shells they glow yellow, leaving behind a Blue Aura and it jumps into the air towards Dwebble.
Both attacks collide and Dwebble lands on the ground, it goes back into it’s shell and Dewott lands but it looses balance from the collision, it falls over and it faints. Cabernet asks if Dewott is alright as she returns it to it’s Pokeball, Ash says Dwebble won, Iris says that it may have forgotten about it’s protection but it’s attack power rose.
Cilan asks if Cabernet undertstands, he said we predicted that, with Dwebble’s sturdy abitliy, it would be okay with water type attacks, that is why he sent it out against Dewott. He says that Pokemon are profound, which means that tasting according to a book, wont work, so she asks Cilan if he went with a matchup like that, to test her. Cilan says that she doesn’t know the ways of tasting yet, Connoisseurs don’t just discredit: they need to find out each Pokemon’s personality and they make use of it. Cabernet clenches her fists and she says the battle isn’t over, she sends out a Sawsbuck, Ash asks what is is to he looks it up on his Pokedex, it says, “Sawsbuck, the seasonal Pokemon, it evolves from Deerling. Every time the season changes, the flowers growing on top of it’s antlers, change noticeably. People can sense the changing of the season, through Sawsbuck’s antlers.”. Cabernet says Sawsbuck is her vintage, she asks what Pokemon of Cilan’s she can taste next, as Sawsbuck shakes it’s head, like deers do. Cilan returns Dwebble to it’s Pokeball, thanking it for the hard work, he then calls out his vintage, Pansage, he tells Cabernet that he can the sense for simple earth and a strong potential in the battle. But after carefully looking at it, it looks like it’ll take a while to ripen, so Cabernet tells Cilan that his taste is annoying, she tells Sawsbuck to use horn leech, Sawsbuck’s antlers sparkle orange and it charges forward. It charges forward with it’s head down, as it comes closer to Pansage, Cilan tells Pansage to use dig, it does and it goes underground and Cabernet tells Sawsbuck to stop using the attack. It does, Cabernet says the hidden scent hidden deep within a rich taste, she wonders what Cilan is thinking, Cilan puts on a serious face and he calls out her name. He says that he’ll make her taste the profoundness of Pokemon battles, more thoroughly than before. Pansage comes out from behind Sawsbuck, Cabernet tells Sawsbuck to use jump kick, it does, but Cilan tells Pansage to use dig, so the jump kick misses and Pansage comes out in front of Sawsbuck and it uses bullet seed. It uses it on Sawsbuck’s left side, then it’s right and finally the attack hits the back of Sawsbuck, Cabernet calls Pansage nimble. Dento puts a snobby/evil/serious face and he says whether it’s attacked from behind or from the front, dazzling the opponent with a difficult smell every now and then, is another flavour of Pokemon battles.
Pansage comes out in front of Cilan again, Cabernet tells it to use Megahorn, it’s horns glow a silvery/whitish colour and it charges forward, but Cilan’s left eye sparkles, he narrates that right this moment, Cabernet will be finished off with a bang of a peremptory powerful flavour. He tells Pansage to use Solarbeam, the bush on Pansage’s head sparkles and a ball of light appears in between Pansage’s hands, it fires it. But Sawsbuck still charges past Pansage, the two stand still, Cilan says that he has one, Sawsbuck then falls over before she asks if it is alright, Sawsbuck looks at Cabernet, she thanks it for it’s good work and she tells Sawsbuck to rest as she returns it to it’s Pokeball. Ash says that Cilan is strong after all, Iris says that Ash is right, Iris asks Ash if it is nice, that he doesn’t have to replace all of his Pokemon and Ash says yes. As the sun sets and Cabernet walks away, Cilan calls out her name, he says that she has a lot of unseen potential but her talent has yet to be seen, and that if she spends a bit more time, letting it ripen. Cabernet gets angry and she interrupts him saying that the way he tastes is driving her crazy, she says that she will become a S-Class Connoisseur and she will beat Cilan. Cilan says that he’ll look forward to it, with a nice smile on his face, Cabernet resists him being nice, she gets angry and she says that she’ll get revenge no matter what. Ash says that she seemed really frustrated, but Cilan says that even the examination for becoming a C-Class Connoisseur, is a hard one. He says that at least her motivation is admirable, well he’s not sure. Ash tells Pikachu that they should show a bigger more motivation than cabernet, for the next gym battle, because Ash met Cabernet, he now knows more about Connoisseur’s, they walk down a road, the same one Cabernet ran along, when she ran away a bit before.

Snivy is annoyed, Cabernet also mentions that it’s glare is too sharp, so that’s a bad thing also, Cabernet wonders what it’s taste is, Cabernet goes in, to lick Snivy, Snivy hits her tongue with a Vine Whip attack. Cabernet also hates Snivy’s texture so she deems it no good, Ash doubts her and he returns Snivy and he sends out Tepig on Cabernet’s chair, Tepig smiles cutely at Cabernet. Cabernet deems it hopeless, Ash asks why after standing up like Cabernet is, she says that all it does is smile hopelessly, it’s naive and it wont be good in battles, she can tell without tasting and Tepig gets angry and it fires an ember attack at her head.
Oshawott comes out of it’s Pokeball, Ash is annoyed that it keeps doing it, it rubs against Cabernet’s left leg, she doesn’t understand what kind of attitude it is, to be cozying up to people and that Oshawott’s taste is spreading through the room and it reminds of her of aging men. Cabernet deems it not worthy of discussing, so Oshawott fires a water gun at her head, a bit later, it’s Scarggy’s turn, Cabernet says it reminds her of tanned leather and Scraggy is shabby. Scraggy headbutt’s her, she says the tannin of Ash’s Pokemon are so strong that it paralyzes her tongue, Ash doesn’t understand but he thinks that she praised Pikachu before, saying that it’s rare and it has an unusual taste. Cabernet tells Ash that it doesn’t mean it had a good taste and that it looks cuter than it does, on photographs that she saw, so Pikachu electrocutes her with thunderbolt. So Cabernet calls Ash’s Pokemon, all horrible, she says Ash needs to replace all of his Pokemon and Ash says that he wont do it. She asks Ash if he is okay with the way things are, she says that by the way Ash is going, beating gyms and entering into the Unova league to become a Pokemon Master, will be impossible. Ash asks why and she responds by saying she is a Pokemon Sommeliere’s, Iris and Dento open the curtain and they enter the room, with Iris saying that she now knows where she is and Cilan was worried because Ash wasn’t where he thought he would be, when he came back. Cabernet turns around after hearing Cilan’s voice, Cabernet seems to know him and Dento wonders if it’s the person she’s thinking of, so Ash wonders if he knows her. Cilan says yes, he says that she challenged the Striaton city gym, but she lost to him, Cabernet says that she has waited 100 years(Exaggerate much?) to get revenge, but she’ll get it today. Cilan doesn’t understand, Cabernet says losing to him was enough but he even criticized her Pokemon using some righteous words. He mentions that he is a Connoisseur though, and she knows, but she exaggerates the truth by picturing Cilan and Pansage being the bad guys and when she and her Oshawott lost, they were the good people, and a voicover exxagerates Cilan’s words saying “Your Pokemon must have been kept in a hugely terrible environment. Clean your face and try to win again.”
Cilan says that she is lying, Cabernet says that he said something similar and that’s why she was annoyed, she says she then decided to be a better Connoisseur, than him and she would destroy him at tasting. So she took the Connoisseur Exams and she soon became an Excellent Connoisseur by the Pokemon Connoisseur association. But when she went to the gym, Cilan wasn’t there so she yelled at his brothers to hear her out, they told her that he started traveling and that he wasn’t at the gym. She gets heartbroken, then she gets angry saying that he heard that she was coming, so he left the gym. Cilan says that he didn’t really run away and that as unfortunate as it, considering that she followed him, since she isn’t at the gym, they can’t battle for the badge. Cabernet then holds up the Trio badge, she says that she already got the badge by defeating Chili and that she now wants to beat him at becoming a great Sommeliere’s and to open up her own Sommeliere’s shop, by becoming famous. Ash asks her if where they are, is really her Connoisseur shop, Cabernet feels ashamed and Cilan asks her what Class she is and she embarrassingly answers by saying she’s the lowest class and she asks him if it bothers him. Cilan thinks it’s odd and he tells her that a C-Class is still a novice class, and that they’re only allowed to work as assistants to Connoisseurs of A-Class or higher. Ash realises what she tasted, was just lies, Cabernet says that it doesn’t matter because no matter who tasted Ash and his Pokemon, they would say the exact same thing. Cabernet tells Ash to replace all of his Pokemon, Cilan disagrees, Cabernet is shocked, Cilan says Ash and his Pokemon have a great connection. Ash and Pikachu are happy and Cilan says that Cabernet isn’t good at tasting, Cabernet asks him what he just said, Cilan says that the bond between Pokemon and Trainer is a profound matter. Cilan says that she can’t make accurate diagnosis's by relying on a manual for decisions, she says it’s no need to tell her that and she says that she wants to prove her prowess is strong than his in a battle. Cilan understands and he accepts the battle.
Outside the Shopping center they’re on a dirt ground with a grassy area surrounding the dirt patch, Cabernet says that it’ll be a two on two battle, Cilan accepts it. Ash is excite to see a Connoisseur showdown because he hasn’t seen anything like it before, Iris gets the feeling that the battle will be a pain. Cabernet sends out Dewott, Cilan notices that her Oshawott had evolved, Iris checks with Ash if Grass types are stronger against water types, Ash says yes and that he’ll definitely use Pansage. Cilan throws up one of his Pokeballs in the air and out comes Dwebble, Iris and Ash are shocked, Cabernet says, “Bonjour! Tasting time, s’il-vous-plait!”. Cabernet says that he sent out a Bug/Rock type against a water type. She wonders if his skills became rotten before the cork was pulled, Cilan says his catchphrase, “It’s Tasting Time!”, he says that she shouldn’t be sure about that, he says that he’ll do a proper host tasting of her Pokemon. Cabernet asks if she wins, that it’ll prove that her diagnoses of Ash’s Pokemon were correct, Cilan says that he wont lose, Cabernet asks if she can replace all of Ash’s Pokemon if she wins. Ash is shocked, he says that he isn’t involved, she says that Cilan said him and his Pokemon have a good relationship. But her tasting proved the exact opposite, Ash says it’s absurd and he asks Cilan if he will back Ash up, Cilan says “Very well” and Ash is shocked. Cilan accepts her offer and he swears on his title as an A-Class Connoisseur that Ash’s Pokemon will be replaced by his own fault, Ash yells to Cilan that he shouldn’t make an offer with Cabernet, without asking himself if he is okay with it. Cilan says that Ash doesn’t need to worry because there is no such thing as a wrong diagnoses on A-Class Connoisseur’s list. Ash puts on a long face as he is still worried, Iris tries to hide her worried face with a smile, while she says that Cilan’s personality changes when he says tasting time, Ash asks what will happen if Cilan loses, Iris says that it’s Cilan they are talking about and that she is sure that he has a plan.
Cabernet says the taste of her Pokemon aren’t that light and that she’ll show him the power of ripened Pokemon, she tells Dewott to use Water Gun, Cilan tells Dwebble to use Protect, the Water gun bounces of Dwebble’s blue glowing, shield around it’s body. Cabernet tells Dewott to use Fury Cutter, Cilan tells Dwebble to use Protect again, but Dewott just scratches Dwebbles shield. Iris says that Cilan’s just using protect all the time, as says that a Bug/Rock type like Dwebble doesn’t stand a chance against Dewott, a water type after all, Iris asks what Cilan is thinking. Dewott keeps using Fury Cutter, then it jumps away, closer to Cabernet, Cabernet says that using Protect is too simple, of a tactic for an A-Class, she says that for Dwebble, a connection with Dewott would be awful, she tells Dewott to finish off Dwebble with Water Pulse. Dewott grows a tiny water ball in front of it’s mouth, into a big water ball, it fires it at Dwebble and Dwebble is encased in the water as it goes back into it’s shell and the attack lifts Dwebble off the ground. The water around Dwebble explodes and Dwebble falls down, unaffected, Cabernet is surprised, so Cilan tells her that Dwebble’s ability is Sturdy. Cabernet is annoyed, Iris says that Cilan impresses as always and Dewott asks what’s wrong with Dewott, Dewott gives out fast and big breaths, Iris says that it’s tired from attacking. Cilan says that this is where Dwebble’s mellowness becomes fragrant, Cilan tells it to use Shell break, Dwebble jumps out of it’s shell it’s in the air, it’s body become white, red cracks appear on it’s body as well and a white Aura breaks off of Dwebble’s body. Cilan tells it to use X-sciccor, it does and the white Aura goes into Dwebble’s claws, its claws glow white and they grow longer. Cabernet tells Dewott to use Razor Shell, it grabs it’s shells they glow yellow, leaving behind a Blue Aura and it jumps into the air towards Dwebble.
Both attacks collide and Dwebble lands on the ground, it goes back into it’s shell and Dewott lands but it looses balance from the collision, it falls over and it faints. Cabernet asks if Dewott is alright as she returns it to it’s Pokeball, Ash says Dwebble won, Iris says that it may have forgotten about it’s protection but it’s attack power rose.
Cilan asks if Cabernet undertstands, he said we predicted that, with Dwebble’s sturdy abitliy, it would be okay with water type attacks, that is why he sent it out against Dewott. He says that Pokemon are profound, which means that tasting according to a book, wont work, so she asks Cilan if he went with a matchup like that, to test her. Cilan says that she doesn’t know the ways of tasting yet, Connoisseurs don’t just discredit: they need to find out each Pokemon’s personality and they make use of it. Cabernet clenches her fists and she says the battle isn’t over, she sends out a Sawsbuck, Ash asks what is is to he looks it up on his Pokedex, it says, “Sawsbuck, the seasonal Pokemon, it evolves from Deerling. Every time the season changes, the flowers growing on top of it’s antlers, change noticeably. People can sense the changing of the season, through Sawsbuck’s antlers.”. Cabernet says Sawsbuck is her vintage, she asks what Pokemon of Cilan’s she can taste next, as Sawsbuck shakes it’s head, like deers do. Cilan returns Dwebble to it’s Pokeball, thanking it for the hard work, he then calls out his vintage, Pansage, he tells Cabernet that he can the sense for simple earth and a strong potential in the battle. But after carefully looking at it, it looks like it’ll take a while to ripen, so Cabernet tells Cilan that his taste is annoying, she tells Sawsbuck to use horn leech, Sawsbuck’s antlers sparkle orange and it charges forward. It charges forward with it’s head down, as it comes closer to Pansage, Cilan tells Pansage to use dig, it does and it goes underground and Cabernet tells Sawsbuck to stop using the attack. It does, Cabernet says the hidden scent hidden deep within a rich taste, she wonders what Cilan is thinking, Cilan puts on a serious face and he calls out her name. He says that he’ll make her taste the profoundness of Pokemon battles, more thoroughly than before. Pansage comes out from behind Sawsbuck, Cabernet tells Sawsbuck to use jump kick, it does, but Cilan tells Pansage to use dig, so the jump kick misses and Pansage comes out in front of Sawsbuck and it uses bullet seed. It uses it on Sawsbuck’s left side, then it’s right and finally the attack hits the back of Sawsbuck, Cabernet calls Pansage nimble. Dento puts a snobby/evil/serious face and he says whether it’s attacked from behind or from the front, dazzling the opponent with a difficult smell every now and then, is another flavour of Pokemon battles.
Pansage comes out in front of Cilan again, Cabernet tells it to use Megahorn, it’s horns glow a silvery/whitish colour and it charges forward, but Cilan’s left eye sparkles, he narrates that right this moment, Cabernet will be finished off with a bang of a peremptory powerful flavour. He tells Pansage to use Solarbeam, the bush on Pansage’s head sparkles and a ball of light appears in between Pansage’s hands, it fires it. But Sawsbuck still charges past Pansage, the two stand still, Cilan says that he has one, Sawsbuck then falls over before she asks if it is alright, Sawsbuck looks at Cabernet, she thanks it for it’s good work and she tells Sawsbuck to rest as she returns it to it’s Pokeball. Ash says that Cilan is strong after all, Iris says that Ash is right, Iris asks Ash if it is nice, that he doesn’t have to replace all of his Pokemon and Ash says yes. As the sun sets and Cabernet walks away, Cilan calls out her name, he says that she has a lot of unseen potential but her talent has yet to be seen, and that if she spends a bit more time, letting it ripen. Cabernet gets angry and she interrupts him saying that the way he tastes is driving her crazy, she says that she will become a S-Class Connoisseur and she will beat Cilan. Cilan says that he’ll look forward to it, with a nice smile on his face, Cabernet resists him being nice, she gets angry and she says that she’ll get revenge no matter what. Ash says that she seemed really frustrated, but Cilan says that even the examination for becoming a C-Class Connoisseur, is a hard one. He says that at least her motivation is admirable, well he’s not sure. Ash tells Pikachu that they should show a bigger more motivation than cabernet, for the next gym battle, because Ash met Cabernet, he now knows more about Connoisseur’s, they walk down a road, the same one Cabernet ran along, when she ran away a bit before.

OK, just watched the full episode. Pretty cool. I'm betting that Trip's Tranquil is male, the voice for it and Ash's newly hatched Tranquil are totally different, and Ash's is already confirmed female. That will at least allow us to see an Unfezant vs Unfezant battle, and know whose is whose.

So the Rocket/Plasma turf war bonanza is postponed, in case it looks too much like an Earthquake. Or something. It could be interesting to see how this omission affects the continuity in Japan. For the dub, I assume that it will be in the corrrect order.
