It is, but it dosent count for enough. Someone could get a 2 in that and someone could get a 10 and the 2 could have a WAY higher score.....does that mean he deserves to win? We're gonna take the top 3-4 and vote for the winner....that seems the fairist. Were also gonna do the same with the Bottom 4 on which Two should be out.

Background: Made by me, using some picture of dark clouds from google (lol), and then applied a little bit of noise.
Text: Delicious 72 pt, using two layers, both with overlay effect, top one has a motion blur.

Why it represents me: By "expect the unexpected" I mean that you should never judge someone by what they look like, instead who they are, which I like to believe is what you should do, or prepare yourself for things that could happen. Yea, there's a lot of things it can mean. The motion blur shows that things will not be the same forever, and we should not get to worried about now. Finally, like everyone else, i am kinda mysteriousish, which explains the black.

A problem I have found recently about pokemon, is the fact that people feel that the most important thing is power. I selected pokemon that represented my personality, and so I have emphasiszed the feeling that it is not.

Well guys, it's Saturday today, so that means we're gonna find out who's going to the next round and who's not,... but there's only one problem,... 4 competitors, haven't turned in there stuff. Those four are:

-King Deoxazard
So that means, in case they won't turn in there stuff, only one will be out. Let's hope they'll turn in those masterpieces before BRay comes,... Ohh, 'bout that BRAY,... do you know anything 'bout those guys, and why are they late?

Well its only Friday here....lol and its due at 11 Tonight...my time. So roughly 9 Hours and 15 minutes.
MUCKSTER is the only one I know is currently working....Bonsly said hes busy and will try to get it in. Lugia and King Deoxa I have no idea....

Relation to challenge: I think it relates to the challenge because It is supposed to show hwo we do our art and the text represents my way because I am always turning my art black(Darkrai) desiging it then I am giving it a new light by giving it a Brighter(Charizard) and more standing out background like I did with this background It started light I changed it black then revived it with color and look.
Steps into making this banner: 1. Ink Scetch (Ink outline 40%, Coloring 100%)
2. Frosted Glass (Max. Scatter Radius 50.00, Min. Scatter Radius 50.00, Smothness 8)
3. Bulge (Bulge 100%, Center -0.47 and -0.60)
4. Added a Julia fractical copyed julia fractical then un did the julia fractical then went to paint and opened background pasted julia fractical then re did the first 3steps on the new background.
5. Unfosued to 50
6. Opened file with edits on it into paint and copy and pasted darkrai inot it.
7. Opened file with background with Darkrai and Charizard on it into paint.net
8. Added noise (Intensity 100%, Color Saturation 400%, Coverage 2.02%)
9. Added text. (Chiller, size 20, Smooth, Bold Italic, Center align)
Time Required: 2hrs and 30minutes.
I hope this entry is better then my first is is not a standard like my first but it is yet standing out with the frosted glass and buldge effects.
Paint and Paint.net were used.

Well here is my new entry and explenation
Explanation:
Well when B Ray told me it needed to relate to the challenge more and looked back at my artowrk, especially some of my first things where my style is more prevelant. Well what I found in common with all of them that they all had something to do with my Favorite Pokemon, especially Empoleon! One of my 2 absolute favorite pokemon! I also noticed, that throughout my work was a marine theme, this is perfect since I love work with water pokemon. Since my favorite type is water i thought i could put that more into the banner. So in my banner I placed not only empoleon, but the center circle is more of a brighter blue, with some purple in it. Representing the ocean, one of my favorite places in the world. I should also tell you that Roserade is one of my favorite pokemon and always will be! Now here is all the technical stuff
Roserade and Chimchar are from pokesho, I don't have the exact link currently,
Empoleon is from arkeis.com
I got the spirals from using the swirl distort on Paint.net, the original image were fire for chimchar, grass for Roserade, and a water drop for Empoleon. I then continued and used the glow effect on Roserade and Chimchar. While using the neon effect for Empoleon
With the middle circle and text, I tried to make it look like Empoleon was in the water circle thus "relying on the power WITHIN"
Hopefully I will pass through this next round! Hope I fixed what you wanted me to B Ray, is it better? Can you tell me that?
