Well, in that case, I think I'll get busy, as this is gonna take me a while... A LONG while. I'm estimating that this will be about a 5-8 hour project at the shortest (I need to get the perfect outline, then color/shade it). Once I finish it, though, I can't wait to find some way to incorperate it in a banner later in this competition. xD

Oh, and uhhh... when I do submit a banner with my drawing in it, in the "time required" field, should I include the time it takes me to outline, color, and shade this, or do you want me to leave it out and just include the time it takes me to make the banner? I'm only doing all of this now so I don't have to hassle with it later.

Also a small announcement.....since INFERNAPE is dropping out, Andyman will replace him....he is a highly qualified artist who I think will do great here....Im still waiting for the confirmation post but hopefully it will come.

Wes: It dosent matter.....the only reason for listing the time is I wanted to put the average time per artist to get a time frame for each challenge....

Better yet, I think you should put it with the Feedback Rules section and color code it in whatever color you wish. That way, there's no chance that they'll miss it.

Updated.....well, I'd like to announce that the judging will begin on Thursday for the contestants who turned in their final early, and then Saturday for the ones who turned theirs in on Thursday or Friday. The winner AND next challenge will be announced after the judges finish judging. These will be two rediclously long posts that you WONT wanna miss!

This piece of art reflects me in many ways. For one it shows off my new ability to use GIMP and add a vibrant and colorful prospective to banners. Also the quote "The Bells are Ringing.." symbolize a new chapter in my art, or a new life.

Theres only one entry. What I mentioned was you need to come up with HOW and WHY this banner you made relates to the challenge. Thats where the drafts come in.....if you made one and chose option B (my feedback) I'd give you Pros/Cons and a rating as well as things to fix/improve on. Thats where you go back, make edits and then turn in a final. If your'e happy with this one, by all means use it. I just need to know which option your choosing, and the explanation....

Description:
Well first off I chose Zapdos because he is one of my fav lightning pokes, and because I like all things to do with the universe I thought that the brushers I used would reflect that. I thought that the font would look good with the lightning and all that cause its called pulse and I just thought it would look good. And well the text I think you should be able to work that one out for yourself lol.

Time DONE: 1 Hour

I think ill go with B lol

Description:
This banner reflect all about me and about my artistry. First, Cherrim, I picked her because for me, she represent cuteness (pinkness) and smartness (grass type is green and green is smartness). These two factors are the most important when making an art. Next, the text, that's my motto as an artist, " Art is a Blast ", for me, it means that Art is something that blossoms for a small amount of time before withering away. Art is beauty that lasts for just a moment. Just like Cherrim, she blooms only for a small amount of time (when it's sunny) and soon will turn again into a useless stuff (when there's no sun).

Time DONE: 2 Hours + Another 2 + 30 minutes = 4 1/2 Hours

I'll chose this as final.

This reflects me because.....Squirtle is my favorite Pokemon. I love water, and swimming in water(Where else would you swim?).
The reason the banner says "Squirtle Squad" is becasue it is the name of my club. And the "Dive Into Art" saying reflects me becasue when I saw the fan creations I just dove(or jumped..LOL!) into it becasue I loved it so much.

Well that is my entry.

Charizard is from pokebeach. (sugimori)
Pattern own thought.
colors standard paint yellow, orange, and red.

How it reflects me: Well for starters charizard is my all time favorite pokemon of all time. I chaose shiny Charizard because I have a black sorta evil thing about me. The red, orange, and yellow represent fire because I have a fiery spirit. The words, "The Flame within and Artist" is relatable to me because in order to make a new piece of art I have to have like fiery spark in my heart to make it. The broad boarder is 5pixels wide and that reflects my additude because I always have a broad wide additude and my dad says I have a 5/5 pixel mind because he knows I like making stuff on the computer.

This took about 3hrs. to make because the text did not work out black at first so I had to go in and erase it all then I just used a text I don't know which one because it was already been in use before and I just used that. I had to hand color that yellow for the perfection policy.

I chose option B.
