Remember once you take one out and Submit another one it will be your FINAL copy.....you only get two chances.....make it work.
Glad to see we only need 2-3 more entrys.....this is lookin good. We need some people to finish the edits and get their finals in but it should turn out good. Please remember I most likely will be shortening the challenges from now on, so they'll probably only last 3-5 days depending on what it is.

Second Entry [for contest #1]
(Honestly I can say its a lot better than the first, thanks BR!)
How this reflects me as an artist. I try in my art work to not really follow anyone or be someone I'm not. Basically do whatever is possible to stand out from the croud. And thats what I basically did with Chimecho, as you see he stands out more even with a bit of fractile brush. I also use fractile brushes often which is the stringy effect. I also like trying new things. I used bubbles instead of swirls which I normally use. I but effect, time, and effort into my artwork so that it'll stay in someones signature for a long, long time.

Background: Made by me, using some picture of dark clouds from google (lol), and then applied a little bit of noise.
Text: Delicious 72 pt, using two layers, both with overlay effect, top one has a motion blur.

Why it represents me: By "expect the unexpected" I mean that you should never judge someone by what they look like, instead who they are, which I like to believe is what you should do, or prepare yourself for things that could happen. Yea, there's a lot of things it can mean. The motion blur shows that things will not be the same forever, and we should not get to worried about now. Finally, like everyone else, I am kinda mysteriousish, which explains the black.

The contestant that get's eliminated each round is the contestand that did the worst that round...Right? Or it it the contestant with the lowest total score from every one of rounds get eliminated.

The scores are really just indicators.....it tells you guys how your doing, what you can improve on and how you rank among your fellow competitors. The winners/losers of the challenge will be decided by the judges only.....and a big part of this decisison in this is the relation to the challenge. Scores will be taken into account, but we will not base the winners/losers based on that.
We will hold awards for things having to do with points (Most points in a single challenge, most after halfway point, and possibly some others) and I will be posting some things to do with points in the first post.... like a Leaderboard and such of the contestants.
Four People are yet to produce any work here.....if those four people fail to turn things in, they will be automatically eliminated and only one person will be out from the people who have turned their work in. If everyone turns their work in, Two people will be out.

I don't get it, how does it work that the scores aren't the final say. The scores should exactly reflect a judge's opinion, so shouldn't the final decision be made on those scores?

No....the scores are a guideline. We're scoring the art....but as far as whos gonna be out or whos gonna be the winner it has to be a good mix of the scores AND how the art relates to the challenge.
