Well I have an idea for the next partner challenge....It was a simple error I completly overlooked.

And with the whole theme thing, Im just trying to offer many different styles of art....and I think that in every single challenge at least 1 person really showed one skill or another....and thats what everyone looks for in a contest right?

I still need your fabolous PM AS, telling me who should win and if the winner should recieve immunity.

Hate to be a bit of a party pooper but another partner challenger would be...GAH! The last one didn't work to well and since we only have like 5 people left lets just stick to normal stuff. But your the boss and I might be taking my vacation week next week anyway. I will be gone part of the week but not the whole week so we will see if i will or not depending on how long you give us for the challenge.

I had a computer failure right in the middle of my biggest paper of the year (about 20% of my grade), so i'm afraid I won't have the time to judge unless I can do it tommorow after school, which is unlikely. SOrry, just thought to pop on and give a heads up :/ I hate my computer soo much. Thank god for memory sticks.

Thats really too bad.....you were the backup for the backup.....so hard to find consistant judges these days. BTW-Those judges who have been consistant will most definately be recieving a trophy.....Im gonna make a whole award show at the end. *Learns how to scratch trophys* I guess I'll ask Bacon or someone to fill in.

Well, after 0 hours of sleep, the whole paper's done and i got some spare time, so here we go XD

Effect: 7/10 It's cute, but cute won't win you anything.
Color Useage: 5/10 What color did you use other then white and cat?
Effort: 5/10 You just editted an existing picture.
Originallity: 7/10 No one else did a cat theme
Relation to the Challenge: 5/10 Kind of missing the spy feel.
Overall: 7/10 I still like spy cat XD
Total: 36/60

Bellomence
Effect: 10/10 The best in the round, loved the spy feel.
Color Useage: 8/10 You did't require alot of color to give it an overall feel, but used the few well.
Effort: 9/10 I can see you put some effort into this.
Originallity: 8/10 Can't bieleve no one else though of them XD
Relation to the challenge: 10/10 You knew what you were doing
Overall: 9.5/10 I really liked it XD Way to go Bellomence!

INFERNAPE:
Effect: 2/10 There was no effect..
Color Useage: 6/10 alot of open space that could've been used.
Effort: 6/10 I suppose this took a little effort on paint..
Originallity: 7/10 Decent, and no one else used it.
Relation to the Challenge: 7/10 You kind of got it, but it feels there could be more.
Overall: 4.5/10 Sorry, but it has an overall unpleasentness to me.

MUCKSTER:
Efect: 8/10 Not bad, Sudowoodo looks warpped though XD
Color Useage: 9/10 Nice and simple
Effort: 8/10 You put some though into this.
Originallity: 9/10 No one else used it.
Relation to the Challenge: 5/10 I feel this was more of a hide-and-go-seek kind of themed work, rather then spy.
Overall: 8/10 Nice effort!
Total: 47/60

Moneyking:
Effect: 6/10 i get what you were going for, but the ice guy looks strange and the text fails like a magikarp.
Color Useage: 8/10 Probably would be 10/10, but the text coloring and grainy coloring of the ice figure take away from the overall thing.
Effort: 8/10 You put some time into it.
Originallity: 7/10 B_R's example, but no one else used it.
Relation to the challenge: 10/10 It's about as spy as you can get..
TOtal: 7.5 I feel there could've been more.

Forget what i said before, the challenges are pretty good, i just think that they could be a lot better if all of the judges voted on what to do. jmo

DESPITE saying I wasn't judging this round, it seems I can't get a let-off anyhow, so... here's my take on this.


pika2
Effect: 4/10 - Ceiling cat needs to stay ceiling cat... he's not spy cat >_>
Color Usage: 4/10 - Colour? Apart from the cat, was there any colour IN this?
Originality: 7/10 - I DO have to give points for using a cat.. that was unique at least.
Effort: 5/10 - the only thing I see taking any time here is the cut-out in the ceiling...
Relation to the Challenge: 5/10 - I suppose it DOES "spy" on things... but it's not a spy, so...
Overall: 5/10 - This might seem harsh, but there's not really much going for this thing at all... not to me at least.
Total: 30/60

Bellomence
Effect: 10/10 - Like PMJ said, I knew nothing about these two... until you did this. The transistions are VERY good IMO, and the whole dark and moody theme fits perfectly, especially seeing as how they're spies for Giovanni.
Color Usage: 9/10 - The colours used fit the whole spy thing perfectly - so even if there aren't many different colours, what is used was used perfectly. Nice one!
Originality: 10/10 - Well, did you see anyone else do something like this? Didn't think so.
Effort: 10/10 - Phenominal effort here - how you managed to put SO much into this challenge is beyond me...
Relation to the Challenge: 10/10 - Well, what can I say - there's everything required and then some here...
Overall: 9.5/10 - As good as it gets here. Awesome!

INFERNAPE
Effect: 7/10 - Well, it was pretty nice... I respect those who can scratch stuff, even if it's not the most awe-inspiring thing to behold afterwards.
Color Usage: 9/10 - Yeah, I can dig this... although maybe a better border for the chest of drawers would've helped. It's pretty sweet overall.
Originality: 10/10 - Scratching is almost always unique in these things... and the theme isn't used otherwise, so ya.
Effort: 9/10 - As I said, I respect scratchers... cause I know it must take an age to do.
Relation to the Challenge: 10/10 - Aye, it has everything there.
Overall: 8/10 - For a scratched piece, it looks really good...
Total: 53/60

MUCKSTER
Effect: 9/10 - Caught the kid on try 2, but yeah... it's a cool effect, and the sprites on a real background did well :)
Color Usage: 10/10 - Yeah, this blends in perfectly.
Originality: 10/10 - Once again, nobody did anything like this.
Effort: 9/10 - A fair bit of re-colouring on the kid, and a good bit of animation too...
Relation to the Challenge: 8/10 - WELL... S_J made a good point - this kinda reminds me of Where's Wally, which takes away from the spy theme a little...
Overall: 9/10 - I loved the impact that this left, nice one!

Effect: 7/10 - Aye, the text is annoying... but fire and ice usually wins me over, and this is no exception.
Color Usage: 6.5 - There was a colour scheme here? It seems a little odd...
Originality: 8/10 - I dunno what to put here... but no other entry had this stuff, so...
Effort: 8/10 - Prolly took a while to do.
Relation to the Challenge: 10/10 - Nothing to note here.
Overall: 7/10 - Hmm... oddly enough, I'm not overly impressed... you seem to do best WITHOUT immunity, although it didn't come in here.

Well, now that all the scores are in I can move on with Project Custom!

Some Notes:Gamercal will not be able to judge the next challenge.....so Tankian will have to fill in.

Since there were no losers in this challenge,we can move right on to the winner. It was a 3/5 majority when two others both voted for this person and I debated with myself and made my final decision to make majority. Congrats Bellomence you are the winner of this challenge. The animation and effort really won it for us....great work. Since you had turned in youe first draft before Wes quit and ruined things,you WILL recieve Immunity for the next challenge. Congrats! Since theres no bad news for this challenge I can continue right on and bring you another version of "The Fun fact of the Challenge!"

Fun Fact of the Challenge!
The Fun Fact of the Challenge is.....Pika2 dropped out of the competition, said "the challenges so far have been, to say the least, terrible. ", and then said "Forget what I said before, the challenges are pretty good" in 2 Days.....the first two events happened in the same day (yesterday) and the last quote was from this morning.

Well moving along, heres the next challenge.

Challenge #6-The Flip the Switch Challenge. Taking you out of your confort zone. You may do anything you like in this challenge except:

Monkeyking63-Cant be a banner. Cant use Arkais/Sugimori Images.
MUCKSTER-Cant be animated. No spriting allowed for you at all. Cannot use Muk.
pika2-Cannot be a banner. Cannot be animated. Cannot use empoleon.
INFERNAPE-Cannot use any forms of spriting. Cannot use any fire type pokemon.
Bellomence-Cannot be animated. Cannot use Flowers, leaves, and any form of green in your piece. Inculding pokemon.
Zzzdark-Cannot be an avatar or banner. Cannot be animated.

So thats it.....you have Six Days for this challenge. This challenge is due March 18th at 7:00 PM EST. As another little twist there will be no perks for this challenge. Feedback and the +1 are gone.....but just for this challenge :]

hmm, this is PERFECT! It gives me a chance to show who I really am, using SPRITING I love spriting and I am actually not bad with it! So I have the perfect idea for this one! And with a whole week to do it I can't thank you enough! Can't wait to get started!

I must appluad you on this idea b-ray, maybe there were 1 or 2 bad ones before, but the others, especialy this one, look great. BTW sorry about not getting my PM to you, I forgot about it and logged off. In the future though, Just take the person I gave the best score. I really don't think there's any situation that would warrant a different choice.

Glad you like it :] And I ended up not needed it, I just had to make sure I had majority (which we ended up getting without your vote)

I'd really prefer to just get a habit of sending the PM after the post.....not just for you, but all judges who dont regularly talk to me via MSN or AIM. That was the original intention, and like most things in this thread with intentions, they havent worked out.

BTW AS- PM me for some ideas I have...I'd like to discuss them with ya.....it is a horrid shame you dont have IM....
