SSB Brawl Discussion Thread

RE: The official Super Smash Brawl thread/characters.

I'd be okay with them adding Baby Mario and Baby Luigi if they acted sort of like the Ice Climbers do. That'd be pretty cool, since you do a lot of teamwork attacks in the SSS games.

Also, I've been getting a couple requests to sticky this thread, but since it's not Pokemon related, I'm not going to. I know Pokemon are in the game, but this game is not ABOUT the Pokemon series, they just co-star in it. So...just wanted to make sure you guys that asked didn't think I was ignoring the request.

Yeah that would be nice, and if a person plays a match with them long enough, they can use there Chain Chomp from Mario Kart Double Dash

Yes same for me. This isn't worth a sticky because it isn't Pokemon related, and if we stuck one game thread then every other person will want their game thread stickied. So guys can u please stop asking for this to be sticked.

I would rather not have team Baby Mario and Luigi. No character should take up 2 spots. There should only be one Mario and one Luigi in it, but meh.

Sorry guys. I thought you stickyed important theads like this one. Anyway I would like to see rayquaza using hyper beam come out of a pokeball.:)

i hope they add sheik in it no game is complete without sheik in it i really want shadow or silver in with tails and sonic

Do you mean keep Sheik, or are you unaware she's already in the game.
I personally hope she stays (She's my secondary at the tournament scene) but if all the Legend Of Zelda characters are changed to their Twilight Princess form, she'll probably be removed. (Plus, I think Zero Suit Samus is supposed to be the new Sheik)

And I REALLY don't want to see the babies. They're just more annoying copies of Mario/Luigi, and they'd suck. Guaranteed.

EDIT: *Sigh* I just looked at the end of Silver's post.
Look, if Sonic makes it in, there WILL NOT be another Sega character. Sakurai has room for only 3 third-party characters. He's not wasting a space on another character by the same third party provider.

Maybe they will add another third party Sega Character, and what Dr. Mario?

I hate to say it, but I believe Dr. Mario is a "classic" character, and therefore will not be in Brawl.

I'm really hoping this isn't true though, Doc is by far my best character, and also my favorite to use. :)

I have seen articles for sonic being a possibilty but some of you guys have seen them and you said they were old or something but I hope he is in the game. The games are good but to bright and motion is to fast for my eyes though but imagine a sonic target test for brawl.:)

I have an idea i think they should add scyther to it

B cut (Charge)
left-right B fury cutter
up-B wing attack
down-B endure

P.S. i agree with you xxashxx that would be a challenge but if they add sonic, they have to add shadow

They don't, and they won't. I'll bet you $20 Shadow isn't in Brawl.

PMJ, will you really give him 20 $ if your bet it wrong? LOL, and i highly think Sonic is comfirmed, now if only i had the Wii :).

I'm totally serious. If Shadow the Hedgehog is a playable character in Brawl, I'll fork over $20 USD. ;)

Amy's chances of being in Brawl: 0%

Sonic has the highest chance of being in Brawl. No other Sonic related character will be playable. IF Sonic is even in the game his stage may have other characters in the background or there might Sonic characters as mini-bosses for different modes (unlikely, but possible).

Sonic isn't even confirmed to be in Brawl yet, but he is likely to appear in it anyway. I'm pretty sure someone doing Brawl said that they only wanted a max of three 3rd party characters. Snake is confirmed, Sonic is possible one other. We don't know if there will even be a 3rd one, but people have mentioned that Megaman might have a slight chance. I can't think of any others that even have a chance of being in it, the only other 2 that come to mind are Spyro and Crash bandicoot but the chance of them being in it is next to nothing.

He is Sega's Mascot, so i think he will be in it, but i Really think he Is comfirmed.
