SSB Brawl Discussion Thread

RE: The official Super Smash Brawl thread/characters.

A random thing I would like to see is more boss battles (like Master Hand/Giga Bowser)
I always thought it would be cool to have a different Adventure Mode final battle depending on your character.
Fox/Falco (or any other new Starfox characters) could fight Andross.
Mario/Luigi/Peach etc. could fight Giga Bowser (except he'd be like a normal boss fight, not as hard as he is in this game)
Legend Of Zelda characters would play against Ganon (not Ganondorf)

These bosses would be more like Master Hand fights (the whole semi-stationary idea) but with those characters. Maybe Giga Bowser would walk around, but Andross/Ganon would just be...there.

I know it wouldn't happen, but it was always something I wanted in the game.

Pikachu/Jigglypuff/mewtwo/pichu (if they keep any of them in) would fight, maby a dragonite?

I think they should add Raichu, and keep Pikachu and Pichu, and they should keep Mewtwo, and Jigglypuff, and Dragonite would be nice.

Crazy hand would be cool. Imagine dropping bombs on your opponent and smashing them into the ground or using a laser on them.:)

They probably won't add Raichu, and they DEFINITELY will not add Raichu AND keep Pichu. Pichu's just...awful.
And Crazy Hand will never be a playable character.

For one I have not heard crap about DK in Brawl but I know that zero suit samas is a fighter if you go to smashdojo.com or what ever it says that zero suit is a fighter.Also for all you people out there who think Brawl comes out in june its a lie!! For all we know Brawl could be another Twilight Princess wait.
Also I read some were about a month ago that they are taking out some fighters......Please let it be pichu or young link:)

If they delay Brawl, fine. Let 'em, delayed games can only get better.

Sonic is the ONLY SEGA CHARACTER that has a chance BETTER THAN 0% of being in Brawl. No one else.

You kids and your wacky ideas. ;)

Never? my brother played as him, and i was Master Hand, we used Action Replay MAX.

BTW: Pichu is not awful.

Just because you played him in the debug menu, doesn't mean he's a playable character.
Trust me, he won't become a playable character.

I hope they wont introduce more"clones" like falco, dr. mario and ganodorf. I wonder what other pokemon will be in it?

Yeah, Sakurai said he's really sick of clone characters.
He'd rather remove them from the game than have them exist.

Rest assured, there won't be clones.

Pichu is awful, but I own with Pikachu.

For the last time, Dr. Mario is NOT a clone of Mario. His range, power, and speed are significantly different than normal Mario, and anyone who is superb at playing Mario cannot perform exactly the same if they choose Dr. Mario instead. They are more different than they appear.

What I wouldn't mind Nintendo doing is releasing Brawl with some vacant spots, then updating the Shop Network with additional characters for like $2. You know, like Halo 2 did with additional multi-player maps and stuff. Add new characters, new maps, items, whatever, in patches that you could download for a small fee. It wouldn't be necessary to buy them, as you'd still be able to fight online in the new areas and face the new characters, but in order to play them you'd have to pay a little money.

As long as the additional characters released weren't dud characters and were characters made based on how much people wanted them made. It'd keep the online play fresh and would always constitute the completionists to master someone else, making their money even more worth it.

I should work for Nintendo.

Have you guys played the NES or game boy versions of Dr. mario? You can see the 2 diffrences between the 2 bros and they are not the same by a long shot.:)
