Super Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U

Is there an option for changing the quality of your connection? You might be able to make it a better connection if you can change that.
Of course not.
I play in 2D. Not SD.

Ok that did not even work? You would think the graphics would be less that would improve the status. I guess not sounds like. It has to do with how many pixels are on screen. If there are too many pixels or graphics your connection will be slower. Also try moving closer to your friends to see if that helps. Just giving some ideas that might help.:)

The number of pixels on a screen is not a variable, it's always the same (192000 pixels on the top screen).
And we were close enough.

Ok What about the bottom screen? Usually if there is too much on screen thing will slow down for awhile. Even on the GCN and other systems things will slow down down if there is too much on the screen at once. Also weather sometimes can disrupt your connection even on local play you experience some sort of slowness.:)

Yeah if there is too much going on it can cause lag. But there was some lag in itemless 3-player games too. As I said it's rare so it's not a big issue. And even then it only affected my play like twice for 2 seconds in 200 matches.

That is not too bad then. Sounds like it is pretty normal then. Cool.:)

So, I bought the actual game today from a store that broke the release date. :p

UH what????? How did the store manage this and what store messed up?:)

It didn't mess up, this store knowingly breaks release dates of big titles. It's the same store where I bought X four days early.

Oh ok. I thought maybe it was a store here. Well after someone reads this the store might change their policy LOLz.:)

Unlock Duck Hunt. I'm curious to see if his name was changed for the English release.

If you mention a character that has NOT been officially revealed, PLEASE put them in a spoiler until at least 2 weeks after the game has released globally.

great use of spoiler tags PMJ :p But I am also curious about that.

I dislike how stores break release date (This case was in germany), it gives those waiting a longer wait, knowing others got it early. I am not hating on those who have it early. I would definitely buy it as early as possible (I do it with Tcg releases), I am directing this at stores knowingly breaking street dates and selling early to get more cash.

As for the connection lag: The reviewers tried playing directly next to each other, and still had massive lag.

"Duck Hunt Duo," apparently. I guess that makes sense, although technically the hunter themself is involved in quite a few moves as well.

Also, I'm sort of baffled why people who would not want to be spoiled about Smash Bros. would even look at this thread. It's not like unlocking characters is that big of a deal anyway...
It's a fighting game, not being able to discuss fighters without having to click a bunch of spoiler buttons is ridiculous.

Personally, I wanted it to be called
Duck and hunt, the duck and hunt being the dogs name. It has a ring to it. Duck hunt is nice too. But, Duck hunt duo? Those 3 letters in the end kinda ruin it for me. At least custom movesets are nameable...

I think people want to discuss the game, but not be spoiled because this way they can discuss current confirmations (Like Ike and Palutena) and still be surprised when the game is out. It sucked hard being spoiled for XY because people could not bother putting Spoiler alert or something similar before, ruined the entire game for me. I am not calling anyone out, this happened on a different place. If this is supposed to be allowing discussion of spoilers, without tags, it should say in the title "Super smash bros 3ds/Wii U discussion (SPOILERS), just my 2 cents.

I don't think the Duck Hunt Dog is in Smash. If it is please show pics. If the person has the game meaning the real copy we need proof as the site has not added any info about this yet.:)

We know, absolutely, for certain, that the Duck Hunt Dog is in Smash Bros. 4 because the game has already been been released in Japan and many people have already unlocked and shown off full character rosters with video. If you want proof, simply search on YouTube: "Smash Bros Duck Hunt Dog" and click on any of the gameplay videos that come up. It's in. It's confirmed. There is no doubt.

The only reason it's not on the English site is because Sakurai doesn't want to spoil those who aren't so informed (like you, perhaps) and don't want to be spoiled. But since you insist, I have confirmed it for you. Sorry if you didn't want to be spoiled. You shouldn't have clicked on the spoiler.

Nah it is fine. He just does not fit the Smash Bros Roster? How does a dog actually attack other than growl and bite LOLz.:)
