Ah. What do you do about retreats and stuff? Warps/Switches? Or do you tech like say Flygon for retreat?

Jumpluff has free retreat, so that doesn't affect me. Most of the others have only 1 retreat so I can just attach and retreat. I don't play warps or switch. I know I should, but I've never been in a situation where I'd need one.​

No. If your opponent has a full bench, and you have some SF Cherrims on your bench you OHKO them unless they play Expert Belt.​

No I mean bench shields on your shaymin so FlyX cant E.A. it. Ya know, a free prize lol.

When they pull it active you're screwed.

And Jumpluff? Really? Needs more HP really, even with shaymin.

You fail to remember that Shaymin has a 1 retreat cost, Brawler. Only reason he could be possibly screwed is if all his energy has been discarded by Wind Eroison, which I doubt with Night Maintence/Palmers.

If you fail to OHKO them with Group Attack, you Leaf Guard for -30 on your opponent's attack. But if you know that if you Leaf Guard and Jumpluff can't withstand the attack, Group Attack for a lot. I don't play Bench Shield because I won't use it often.​

I do not fail to remember, I remember that usually when you level up you have already retreated. Oh yeah, Bench Shield is cool. Grand swell on other pokemon is cool too. ;)

Jumpluff cannot be BDIF/Tier 1 material for several reasons:

It's not the fastest deck out there.
That Blastoise snipe thing roflpwns it.
No matter if you hit weakness, Gatr is still a threat.

It's just not as good as you say it is. 130 with shaymin STILL isn't enough, and with decks like GG that could return with DCE, it won't matter.

I think brawler is right, the deck wont last in HGSS format

Yeah, everything is upping its damage. Shaymin is a target for Reversal and you know people will be playing it with 3-4 copies. The search engine is so much faster too, so the decks like GG will speed up even more.

And those lone Tyflosion/Ninetails/Charzard PA decks will OHKO the jumpluff

mhm which makes a triangle. Water > Fire > Grass > Water etc.

For cities I will probably go with SP. What are you guys playing?

Probably dialga G lock. I'm still working on the list, but right now it gets T2 lock every battle. Sometimes T1.
