The only flaw for me was that the Kanto region was weak
i agree they have low leveled pokemon, and i have to keep going back and forth to places when i cant fly and it gets annoying after a while

VS seeker is cool and all, but that didn't stop me from EV training with Pokerus and ALL the power items. Use vitamins and then fight wild pokemon... goes by REALLY fast. especially in some areas.
Honestly... Not being able to buy coins is MY only complaint... That and the mixed marriage shiny hatching rate STILL being too low.
Breeding in SS is probably the best thing that has ever happened to me involving Pokemon. So much time saved.
Actually, I do have one other complaint... Which is the game BSing you out of victories in Battle Frontier when you "get too far"... Like YOU KNOW when they rig it against you because it is just plain damn obvious. The voltorb game can also have that effect when you get down to that 50/50 scenario and you lose just because you picked the wrong space. when everything else pointed to that space being the right one, locigally.

It takes so long time to train a pokémon, and that is really frustrating for me, so therefore, i have traded my new EV trained team from Soulsilver over to Platinum. I will not play Soulsilver any more, because i can't be finish with all my planned teams before Black and White, when it takes so long to train them. Also, the new way to get a heart scale is really weird.. it is much easier to get them in D/P/Pt in the underground.
And it takes also much longer time in these games to get a move tutor moves, since it cost battle points. In D/P/Pt, you can just buy them for a few shards.

Uh guys. VS Seeker not necessary at all. Buy vitamins, get Macho Brace or Power Items, Pokerus if you are lucky, then battle the E4 and Gym leaders to level your mons up after EV Training them. It's not hard or slow, cause using this method I was able to raise a Swampert in a day. :/
I wish they would have re-done the original intros for Gold and Silver, like they did in FR and LG. That would have been the best thing ever!!

Although they did add new features that made it better-- they seemed to even it back out to that 'could be better' level by changing things for the worst, too :/
The game-corner is a huge pain.. it makes gaining coins FAR more of a challenge then it needs to be. I had been playing for half an hour, and only made 3 coins. :/ It's ridiculous.
Although you can re-challenge the Gym Leaders, it is kind of annoying when the level difference is so small in the beginning. I guess it's nicer if you have a crappy team, but.. the difference is too low. -headdesk-

I agree with levels. At the league (1st time) my Pokemon are barely lv.40. And after defeating all gym leaders (16) - I have them barely over lv.50. And calling leaders is pain in the ass
I completely agree with the level idea. This happens in all the games, but by far it's the worst in HG/SS. I ended up trading over my pokemon from my Diamond version. It was just so much easier and I didn't have the time to train against pokemon so much weaker than mine.
I hate how:
- Move tutors want BP instead of scales.
- Kanto was WAY too easy.
- You have to stop by the Pokemon League if you are going from one region to another.
- Game Corner doesn't have slots and you can't just buy coins either
- The Safari Zone is wack now
- E4 was easy
- You have to send pokes like Eevee and Magneton to an earlier version to get them to evolve.
