BW/BW2 The Isshu Region Speculation Thread (now with new larger map!)

RE: The Isshu Region Speculation Thread

I have been looking around the Net and with Google Chrome i can translate the pokemon japanese website and i found this. "In isshu the region is far away not not many pokemon that are not from Isshu live their." *The translation was hard because I had to move some words to make sense in English so i am just changing what the Japanese said to make it understandable in English. Now the most interesting part was this and it said something about what everyone's been speculating about. "What is the strange object in the center of Isshu? It holds a secret to the region!"

So that will help everyone who is speculating on the vortex.

RE: The Isshu Region Speculation Thread

Doesn´t anyone see that it´s a tower watched from the sky?? It isn´t shaped as a vortex!! It´s just incredible high!!...Or maybe it´s a STADIUM!!...

How can a stadium or tower be shaped like a tornado? It would fall right over.

RE: The Isshu Region Speculation Thread

It could be a gym, stadium, a place where a legendary is found, or a shrine. But if you look at the whole island it seems like a Pokeball so it could be either a stadium or a gym.

RE: The Isshu Region Speculation Thread

It holds a secret to the region awesome! I had a look at it again and it could be a very long tower but i still think it's a vortex statue btw i created a thread about this very thing like a week ago.

RE: The Isshu Region Speculation Thread

To everyone saying that the "tornado statue/building" will collapse:

It's a game... With giant anime creatures tearing apart time and space, while trainers catch smaller anime creatures to capture the big ones. Do you honestly think that the directors would care about physics...? xD

RE: The Isshu Region Speculation Thread

I might know what the vortex thing might be. After analyzing very hard at the map and seeing it where it connects I think I got something out of it.

The Vortex (that many people seem to be calling it) is seems to me to be a shrine of the legendaries. Like the shrine in Sinnoh. This one is the shrine of maybe Zekrom and Reshiram. It looks like a Pokeball and the vortex is the button of which the character presses to let the Pokemon out. Which mean it could be a gateway for letting the legendary Pokemon Reshiram and Zekrom out. Also after analyzing some of the surroundings I have come upon that the player probably has to visit the shrine to learn more about the legendary Pokemon, they he/she will use the roads connecting the vortex with the mountains (of which seem to hold the legendaries). There are two roads one to the right of the vortex and one to the left. One of the two mountains probably contain Zekrom and the other one probably contains Reshiram. After going to one of the mountains. You'll probably meet up with a legendary where you'll have to fight it and/or capture it. Then you will probably have to go back in the shrine and something might happen then you'll probably have to go and get the other remaining legendary. Fight it and/or capture it and bring it back to the shrine and something might activate.

This is what I think after analyzing the map of the Isshu Region and analyzing the "Vortex."

RE: The Isshu Region Speculation Thread

Another thing I noticed about Isshu's apparent airport is its location, since there is an airport northwest of Hoboken, Teterboro airport.

Notice the fact Teterboro is also across a river or two; which does add to the idea that Isshu is based on the Long island area.

RE: The Isshu Region Speculation Thread

Yeah I noticed the airport as well when I was analyzing the map more. Which means that you can most likely travel to the other regions. Because it was announced that the Isshu region is really far away. So it seems like you'll be able to travel by plane to the other regions.

I doubt that there will be other regions in the games.

My thinking is that there will be some other place like the Sevi Islands that you take the plane to (if in fact you do take a plane anywhere).

RE: The Isshu Region Speculation Thread

If they still have fly in the game then probably there's no need to take the plane to get to the islands because it is one whole region. If there isn't fly then the airport would explain it all, then you would have to take an airplane to get the the islands. Though I really do think that the plane is intended to take you to the other previous regions in the game (if they allow you to visit the other regions in the game).

That's the only reasonable explanation in my opinion.

Or maybe.. the plane will take us to Zekrom/Reshiram? o.o

If they are living in the mountains then the player can walk it there (only if they haven't been there). But if they have fly and you beaten the whole game then probably you can use fly to get to Zekrom/Reshiram.

RE: The Isshu Region Speculation Thread

WT... Why is the Bug-type gym located at the top of the map with no way to get there!! (Or is it more abow the map!!)

Thats probably one of the last gyms or it could be the 6th gym or whatever. If the gym is the first one you battle in then the hometown will most likely be close to the bug gym.
