my starlys just got criticaled over and over and over. im sure this one is next...and i just ran into a bidoof for my first poke...i was so used to using wing attack that i killed it...oh well bibarel isnt that good and would be an HM slave...cause geodude sucks as one lol
edit: im about to rematch jupiter...will probably update in the morning. hopefully i dont lose 5 pokemon this time...her skuntank is insanely annoying.....I REALLY HOPE I DONT LOSE ANYONE....weeeeelllll maybe geodude

Update time woot! These take forever because I'm constantly grinding and I never really know when I want to stop because the loss of team members put me real back in it. I'll post my team since it's gone through major changes since the last time I posted it.

I was getting tired of Graveler, so I used a lot of Repels in Iron Island and pass on the Exp and free heals I was getting with Riley in order to get the Egg. It's payed off. Lucario is a freaking monster. Skuntank has a couple cool moves too with high critical hit ratios. I taught it Poison Jab because he seriously doesn't get a good Poison move. ._.
Anyway, on to Byron.
Bronzor easily goes down to Rapidash. So does Steelix. TAKE THAT CRITICAL HIT THIS IS REVENGE Bastiodon used Rest on my switch to Staraptor which was HILARIOUS. Goes down to an easy CC. The grinding was worth it in the end. No losses, FINALLY.
I'll probably be grinding a couple levels for Candice...

so i finally beat jupiter. aaaaand we had casualties. so i accidentally started with SILLYPUTT (shellos) i know...its already not looking good. so i switch to FLUTTER 5 to take out jupiters zubat. easy 2HKO. then the biggest pain in the butt comes out. I HATE THIS SKUNTANK. so i switch to shellos in between turns (turns?....idk what they are called.) i used mud bomb...and he stayed in the green i couldnt believe it. so he used night slash almost put me in the yellow so i knew i could take another hit. so mud bomb again and puts him almost in the red then the stupid sitrus berry kicked in so he is back into the high yellow -_-. so he poison gases me and i go into the yellow so i knew i had to switch or shellos would be a goner so i switch to WIGGY (i know...hes grass but i knew the only poison move he had was poison gas). i use razor leaf just to at least do some damage and it did...nothing lol. he gets me to almost yellow. then i used tackle...and it did nothing again BUT he did go into the red. so im in the red hes in the red i switch to JETTER and he takes a night slash and goes to the low yellow so i had to just hit him with one hit to KO him. and i thought i would go first so i used water gun...and went second so JETTER is gone. so i sent in LAMEROCK...on accident (i have no clue why he went out i thought i hit FLUTTER 5) and i dont like him and he is still lvl5 so i just let him go and then after he was gone i sent in FLUTTER 5 and then i just quick attack for the KO...FINALLY. so...i finally beat jupiter but i lost one of my favorites (idk i just always loved floatzel.).
so now i get my bike and i hope for a ponyta as my next poke because...that is the only other fire type in platinum (besides chimchar SERIOUSLY 2 FIRE TYPES IN THE WHOLE GAME WHY?) as long as i get ponyta i should be fine (that brozong is really really annoying in the E4) at least i didnt lose 5 poke this time...
edit: WOOO caught a gligar...his name idk...um BATMAN lol

Update:
After putting off this challenge for a few days and not grinding like I said I would, I decided to just sweep through Blaine's gym with Linus. I decided to start with Kate (because she's so weak and needs extra levels. > ). The first trainer sends out a Growlithe. I forgot this Gym is level 34+, so I pretty much switched out Kate and switched in Linus. After learning that, I breezed through all the trainers. Once I got to the fourth trainer, I saw he had a Lv. 41 Rapidash. I keep in Kate (I honestly don't remember what I was thinking. It was late at night. Shutup.) and got blasted with a Fire Blast. She totally lived through it. Funny story. She died. So now I really don't care and sweep the entire Gym with Linus's Surf.
The rest of the gym was just Rain Dance+Surf-spamming. The death toll was to large to count.
RIP Kate. I need a new electric type now.

Haven't played pokemon on my ds in forever and have never played competitively, but I might try this. Not sure what rules I'll play with yet.
I think your problem is that you keep your Pokemon in for way too long. Learn how to switch your Pokemon out and you should improve some.^i decided when gligar died lol

Gallade, I have him as where he hatches. So in Violet city, you get a pokemon from Bell tower and Violet City itself. That's how I'm doing it.

Thanks!! Im just gunna let the egg rot in the PC then because I dont want him to hatch and ruin the chances of me getting a good pokemon on a route or him hatching when I've alredy caught a pokemon on a route and not being abel to use him.pokemon99 said:
